To clear something up
« on: July 12, 2009, 02:17:13 AM »
ok.. FW's sticky topic was not at all acurate, i want to tell the real story, cuz now everyone is mad at me and it isnt fair at all

My friend kyle was teaching me how to make shortcuts using command prompts (batch files). And he told me how to make it so ur monitor shuts off, and another to open your disc drive. So i put the codes in, and it is a little file and when activated, shuts ur monitor off ONCE, and opens ur disc tray ONCE.

What fw said about freezing stuff and confusing file extensions are not at all my intentions. In fact, it doesnt even do that.. i dont even know how to do that!

Also, i wasnt going to give it to anyone but him, this doesnt mean i have something against him, i wanted to see his reaction and test it on a different computer than mine. But he wouldnt accept the file so i converted it to an exe file. And when he scanned it, it was identified as a trojan cuz the file was disguised.

What i was doing does not break your computer at all and my intentions were not to be mean, so i dont want this stupid false rumor that i am "Infecting 4m member's computers by sending viruses"...  I simply made a shortcut to do a cool widget trick.

for proof of the file  NO, DONT POST THIS - Kinjo
thats the link, you can scan it a billion times, its a simble batch file, and you can right click it and click edit it after the download to see the code for proof of all it does

Ya know pilot, even though i make fun of you a lot.. i actually admire you
honostly..

Then you shouldn't have sent them something that would alter their  [cen] ing computer you dumbass. No matter your intention you sent them a virus ON PURPOSE.

Pilot... Sheesh... How many times am I going to have to explain this to you?

I DO NOT CARE HOW HARMFUL THE FILE WAS! IT DOESN'T MATTER!

What puts you in the wrong is that you lied. Flash wouldn't open a file for you, and you couldn't settle for that. So instead of just going "okay, it's his computer, he invested his own money into it, if he doesn't want something on his computer, then I can't make him," you lied to him to trick him into it. If you wanted so badly to test it, either find someone else willing, or BUY IT YOURSELF! You claim to have "$400    in your wallet and a credit card" so go spend it if your that eager to test it out.

The bottom line is that you lied, and immaturely wouldn't let Flash do as he pleased with his own computer. Therefore, no matter what you say, you are in the wrong, and I advise for you to man up a little, cuz this during incident you displayed an incredibly immature mentality.

Pilot... you are acting like a ten year old now... man up to your mistakes and learn to live with the consequences, you  [cen] ed and now you gotta live with the results... you brought it upon yourself...

You know I'm a nice person, pretty much everyone is aware of the fact that I hate fighting and tension, but I'm not going to defend you when you do something wrong. Even if Flash did blow it out of proportion, you needed to learn your lesson, and this is a damn good way for that to happen.

Respect people's wishes, and respect their property. That's all there is to it.

wow when did this start? and dont get hung up on the whole "everyone on the 4m thinks im trying to hack their computer"  [zomgnoes]  cuz before this topic i didnt know Anything about anything lol also my computer is in hackable because i know all the tricks.. Looks like you needed to do a More manual way of disguiseing the file so that the scanner would be to dumb to know it was disgused.. that or zip everything up and have a real program and a batchfile with the same name and make the batch that you made seem like the real program... either way you got caught
and due to other mental conversations all it did was dig a deeper whole than it ever should of gotten too. like a woman sais No Means No and somtimes its tough but you just have to accept that.

Pilot you are worried about the wrong things.. no one here thinks your 12 year old mind is that well adapted that you could make any sort of good hacker, no one is afraid of you in any way at all. We are all just pissed that you had the audacity to pull such a stunt and are fed up with the immaturity you display.
