Left 4 Dead 2 is coming later this year! It's a much larger game than the original, and features new co-op and versus campaigns, all-new Survivors, boss zombies, weapons, and items, as well as melee combat.

YES!! 100% YES!!! Its awesome cause they just released new maps and survival mode and yes it was FOR FREE!!!! most other games want money for updates *cough* halo 3, gears 2 *cough* but the people at left 4 dead gave it all away!! I will get part 2, i just hope i get all the achievements for part 1 before it comes out. those expert achievements are tough

doubt it. i liked the first one, but the second one looks almost like the exact same thing, except new characters. true, new guns, and a chainsaw, but the chainsaw looks like its just gonna slow down the fast paced action

It looks just like an updated version of Left 4 Dead in a different setting with different characters. I don't like it, I still think it should be content to add on to Left 4 Dead.

I don't think technology would have to be a big factor to improve upon a game with a sequel. They make new movie sequels one year after the movie comes out and it's usually they can be pretty damn good, sometimes better! (but not always)
