well the demons are Valkyries, which is what the guys see when they are injected with Valkyr, the drug in the games. After they O.D. they envision a Valkyrie carrying them to their death. Only they see the Valkyries.
BTW, I saw a clip of this and it looks like some solid action. Three guys get shotgun-blasted into St. Patrick's Day.

How do you feel it portrayed the game?

Yeah fw there's some really cool bullettime bits, but no 2-guns moments. however, they do have the train station in the beginning (exact name too) and the bit of his wife and kid dead is the same as well. Really solid business.

Well the first scene it sets off exactly as it does in the game.
Most of the scenes you see in the game are reenacted.
yeah thats true.

i really liked how it gets ridiculous when the credits are guns just firing off while the names roll down teh screen.

I explained that earlier in the thread. When the people O.D. on the drug Valkyr, they hallucinate valkyries (flying demons) that carry them away when they die.

I was blown away by how awesome the theatrical trailer was. The music worked so well with the shots of Mark Wahlberg running with the glass next to him getting shot apart.
