i dont know how you think it works but when you LOOSE an hour, you LOOSE time. so no, you have less time today.

not really, i gain an extra hour because i woke up at 8:00 today, which would make it 7:00 giving me an extra hour to do crap

Lol in Spring you Spring Ahead Then you loose the hour.. in Fall you FALL back meaning you Gain an hour weather you like it or not Today Lasted 25 Hours.
