Title: Saints Alleged to have stolen and or Overdosed players with Vicoden Drug

in another Long list of MN Sports woes it apears that the saints may have used Vicoden to relieve their players of pain as to over power matchups and not be humanly detered naturaly by pain..
now the whole orginization may be in trouble with the FBI

whats wrong with using Vicodin to relieve pain, since its a legal drug that is designed to relieve pain?

its wrong when it alters Sports and what players can do on the field and when an organization forces past the limits on the players neglecting human health and fairness, and its wrong when it basically Cheats MN or any "Better" team that didnt do it of a championship, its why you cant even take cough medicine if your an olympic athlete

Whats wrong about it is the vicoden is unneeded and being over prescribed; the doctor who prescribed it outta lose their license. Furthermore, Vicoden tends to have addictive traits and does some very unhealthy things to the body if used prolonged or unneeded. I say shame on the doctor, just as much as on the team.

Vicodin unneeded? Then why does it exist? Its an opiate, right? Those tend to sedate you so whatever pain that is relieved they also get less athletic and sharp. I really don't think it was unneeded as athletes really do take a beating on a regular basis. Whole thing depends if it was used as a perk or to actually just relieve pain.
Must be some strange world as a sports athlete.

Athletes take a daily beating that isnt as rough on them as it is other people, because its also daily life for them
Furthermore, the ENTIRE team obviously didnt need pain medications, so it wasnt being used for pain.
Its a narcotic and an opiate, and if you're not in pain it doesnt do a thing for you besides harm.

A beating is a beating. The article didn't mention a single player who was accused of abusing Vicodin, just a senior staff member who had been apparently stealing Vicodin and forging documents making it look like it was evenly distributed. What a spin! [cmon2]

Just make drugs mandatory for all professional sports. It'll make the game cooler and less people will be in jail.

This news has been a Highlight for ESPN now, and the FBI is involved and somthing big eventually will go down as the doctors lawer sais they have video evedence of all the claims, At the very least, the Head coach of the New orleans Saints has been accused of Stealing the vicoden, Knowingly force team doctors to overdose players, and Obstruct Justice and destroy evidence implicating him or the team, all 3 are Federal Crims with 3 YR minimum prison time if he is Convicted on any 1 of the claims.
The NFL has chimed in that all athletes involved that have overdosed the vicoden are subject to suspension under the NFL's Drug policy (which is oddly unfair if the employers in this case forced them to and also it would be really crazy if most of the Team is Suspended)
and the commishoner of the NFL roger godell also has said based upon People once convicted it is not out of possibility to have the Title stripped.

well that sucks, it wasnt the players actively taking the medication, it was a ring that was going on around them.

ohh yeah then how come the Superbowl is the Best unofficial Holliday that everyone watches weather they are intrested in football or not? and has the best most time and money invested commercials that millions of people have to watch?

You guys who don't know about cheerleading better go out there and do some of the stuff they do without becoming short of breathe. I cheerlead and when i started I thought it'd be easy, and boy was I ever wrong. Its physically exerting and a heavy competition. We run laps, do warm ups, and gymnastics, and I'm pretty sure you can't do almost all of the stunts cheerleaders are capable of. All you guys down it because its a mostly female sport, but if you ever tried it you'd not make it through a week I'm sure.
