OSAMA DEAD?
« on: May 01, 2011, 11:15:50 PM »
"WASHINGTON — Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is dead and the U.S. has his body, says a person familiar with developments.
President Barack Obama was to make the announcement shortly that after searching in vain for bin Laden since he disappeared in Afghanistan in late 2001, the Saudi-born extremist is dead, the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Details of the death were sparse. He was killed in a military operation in Afghanistan, according to sources, though it was unclear which countries were involved. CNN reported that the al-Qaida leader was killed in a mansion outside Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.
It is a major accomplishment for Obama and his national security team, having fulfilled the goal once voiced by Obama's predecessor, George W. Bush, to bring to justice the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks."

What does everyone think about these events? Will internet humor let go of Osama, or will he stand the test of time much like Hitler?!

I don't get it, how people say this is one of those "where were you when" moments, honestly its not that incredible, only reason people are making a big deal about it is because the dude skipped out for so long. Saddam wasnt a "where were you when" moment and he did way worse shit than Omegu.

it was a where were you when if you were watching ESPN sunday night baseball as a crowd of 40,000+ in a matter of 3 minutes all looked at their cell phones and began random chants of USA and all gathered together in a magical fealing of pasion for their country and then all through the night as parties sprang up nation wide at College campuses Around the country as reported From twitter by espn's "mel kiper Jr" But ohh yeah Sports is not important so you wouldnt know how to be patriotic for your country or Even Be self informed to Know Funny but through sports is better than most Opinions or even major news media networks to really know whats going on in the world.

I just think "where were you when" moments should be kept to less than 5 over a person's lifetime, otherwise they don't mean anything. Celebrity deaths don't count either.
