Title: My Malware Experience the past few days
Post by: bloo-apple on June 13, 2010, 02:27:11 AM
I had about 50 trojans on my computer, and a super crafty pieve of adware that took about 4 antivirus softwares to find it and fix it.  Seriously, I went about 6 months with out a antivirus program and was just fine.  Got Limewire and got Adware.  Adware is very annoying, so I ended up downloading Kaspersky, Avast, Avira, McAfee, MalwareBytes, and AdAware to fix the problem.  Turns out one of them found the problem, I don't remember which one, but the one that did it was free.

Now I keep downloading more and more to make sure I am clean, but I am clean.. and being so clean is dissapointing now... Cuz I want to make my pc faster I guess, even though it is already fast.  Thanks for listening

That is your problem. Also downloading things on limewire has always been sketchy. If you're gonna download, have some antivirus beforehand!!

I thought Macs don't get viruses, Kinjo?

As for getting your comp fast, there are a few things you can do, most importantly is deciding what you want your computer to be fast AT.
