I've cried at John Woo movies Bullet In The Head, The Killer, and A Better Tomorrow. That man knows how to jerk some tears.

I cried once when I thought about how high school is completely over and the fun classes are no more, and the song "Hateful" by The Clash popped into my head, which started a couple tears. I also cry every time I hear that ukelele song with the chick just going "oooo" the whole time, no idea what the name is.

I got pretty sad when I read Stuart Little in the third grade, but not to the point of tears.

TV's to shitty to cry for.

Doctor Who has made me cry a few times, especially with two major episodes: season 2's Love & Monsters , and season 4's End of Time . I should also add season 4's Silence in the Library to the list. Originally it didn't, but after getting to know Dr. River Song later in the newer ones—they really added a far greater emotional impact to it.

I came a little close when Jiraiya was taken out by Pain in Naruto Shippuden, but that was the last I can remember. I know as a kid, quite a few emotionally manipulative films were fairly effective, but those really shouldn't count. It takes amazing writing and acting to make a grown man shed a tear.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer, when her mom dies. Or any time a father's son is taken away from him. Shits unfair, dawg.

That was so realistic to how it actually is. It's just so awkward and was really a brilliant moment in TV. I've never seen anything else even close to actually capturing that moment. It's very strange that it came from something like Buffy, but it's just more kudos to Whedon's genius—well minus The Astonishing X-Men: I just didn't care much for it.

Whedon's usually really good when it comes to capturing intricate moments. Even with a property like Firefly, he constructs everything so undeniably well. Must say though, his biggest miss was Alien: Resurrection. Something about it just really sucked compared to the other entries. Mostly because you can't top a one-two-punch like Ridley Scott and James Cameron, but even Alien 3 was really good so it's w/e.

It's tough to say how much of that is in the direction vs. the script. I honestly can't remember the movie much. The only time I really watched it was when it was originally released. However, I'm against the Whedonless Buffy remake. What many people don't realize is—that Buffy was the least interesting character on the show! The supporting cast, their chemistry, and his dialog are what really made Buffy a success.

I'm even hopefull for The Avengers and I really hate Marvel movies.

Very, very wrong.

The movie was decent, but the show was just plain spectacular. If they're going to remake it without Joss, Sarah, or any of the magnificent supporting cast, the studio can take a gallon jug of water and f**k off. [seal]

They'll remake it and make millions. I literally made a Teen Wolf remake joke two weeks after it was officially announced they were making it into a TV series.

I can't disagree more with that. I'm sick of paranormal themed fiction and "investigation" shows. I don't care to see my favorite horror movie monsters portrayed by Abercrombie & Fitch models posing as actors. In general, I think I can name off quite a few of those shows without having ever seen most of them: Supernatural, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Sanctuary, Fringe, Teen Wolf, and Being Human. There are probably even more, but how many purely science fiction shows are there currently running? I can honestly think of only a few: Doctor Who, Eureka, Torchwood, and Wearhouse 13, all of which you need BBC America or Syfy to see.

I cried about 4 or 5 times during Eureka 7, powerful anime. Best one I've ever seen. And also I cried a couple times while reading One Piece.

Without a little bit of envy nothing can be accomplished.

I think the least paranormal show on television is Ghost-Hunters.  [saiyan]
