Title: Effin' women, man...
Post by: Wesker on June 05, 2011, 10:30:44 PM
Having a very up-and-down week. Just when I think my friendship with this girl I've known for years seems to get on the rocks, it gets right back on track, considering I overthink this shit way to much. We hung out later tonight and watched old Nickelodeon cartoons. Great times.

Earlier today at work, my best friend Joe tells me that my lying wonderful person of an ex-girlfriend drunk-texted him last night and tried to hook up with him. He said he wouldn't betray my trust because I'm his best friend and she said "what Andy doesn't know won't hurt him" and rambles on about how she's gonna make out with a bunch of guys at dumb  [cen] ing XTU radio station concert. Chick's headed for a brick wall if you ask me.

Women confuse me.

Yeah it sucks.. Women are like guys that dont have to work for it... Like kinjo sais they can be horny too.. And Being that women are Chased instead of being the Chasers, they can be picky and not usualy have to worry of the consequences cuz there is usualy another guy, but if we did the same thing with women the Stakes are alot more to gamble theres not always another girl..

none of this is fun.. but what it really comes down to is the people you have around in your life dont hold any values to personality or really building their lives for the future and or having a meaningful family, and they will have their own pitfalls of payback for their choices...

other than that dont ask me.. ive been dateless for about 3 years again.. what do i know of relationships...

theres not always another girl..

Ever hear that saying,"their are many fish in the sea". Always another girl, just can't know if she is the right one for you.

Wesker, don't worry about anything she does or what she does it to herself. When she gets older she will have many regrets and you will have very few. You will end up the better person here. .

Oh believe me, I'm a better person at this point--she's a lousy vodka hound.

And I can agree with the statement that there's always more fish in the sea, but often times you're stuck in the desert.

Even in the desert you can find water.

One of my ex-girlfriends made out with my sister. I'm definitely glad to be married and out of that three ring circus. I have great advice on your comment about "over-thinking": Don't think! You'll be miserable if you are constantly policing your actions and trying to manipulate someone into liking you. You have to be yourself, and sometimes that calls for being an asshole. Girls don't trust or fall for guys who can't treat them like people.

Oh, and girls will chase after guys; I've been stalked before. This video will teach you the secret of becoming a sexual tyrannosaurus.

Pleasure to meet you, Nocturnous! Thanks for the advice, it really is much easier if I avoid flirting. Things are going reasonably well at this point.

However, last night I had this nightmare where I was watching a movie with a couple friends plus the girl, and she cuddles up with my one friend. Then for some reason they removed both their shirts and just laid there watching it.
Flashforward to a dinner with her and another two friends. My one death metal-loving friend decided to walk her to her car before I even noticed. I followed to spy on them, but I heard a noise and ran back to the table. A minute later, he returns and exclaims "well I can stop pleasuring myself, I've found a lady!" I asked if he made a move and he said yes, so I delightfully said "Great!  [cen]  you. I've been working on her for a week! Go  [cen]  yourself. Have a nice day asshole," all in a friendly manner. He leaves and the restaurant manager approaches me, hands me a bottle of Sunkist and shakes my hand, explaining that he went through the very same situation before.

I woke up at 6:30am and shot right up. This nightmare still bothers me.

if a girl leaves for some other guy its better for that then because shes mad at your over some stupid argument either way it comes down to your not who she wants, it hurts no matter how it happends, its just easier to transmit your anger if you see it for another guy..

...the hell are you talking about? That doesn't make anything remotely better! If YOU break it off, it works out better. If you find out there's another asshat she digs, then it's not even close to more comforting than her telling you where you screwed up. It's the same plane!

Break-ups only negatively affect the loser. This isn't determined by who does the breaking, but by who doesn't successfully move on or stop caring. I think being left for another guy is the hardest scenario, because it's always some douche-bag who's a condensed and canned version of everything wrong with the world.

There is just no shortcut to becoming laid-back or being able to deal with that easier. It takes a lot of dating experience and a ton of break-ups before you realize that there is just no reason to force a relationship, especially when the other person doesn't want it. Really: If you wouldn't lock someone in a dungeon in real lifeā€”then you shouldn't ever do it in your mind.

Man, I just don't know what to say to that. From a basic human/social perspective it really lacks personality. Outside of the weird grammar issues and formatting of your bio, you've made one huge critical mistake: Girls like older men! Just ask some of the circa high-school age kids here—I bet they know quite a few hot chicks who are dating guys way older than them.

Also, emphasizing being normal is usually a red flag that you aren't, but in a bad way. Seriously, F being normal. Normal is boring, normal is the mild sauce of life, normal is a slice of white Wonderbread with a side of warm tap water. It's about as exciting as going to a Celine Dion concert, then topping the night off with a riveting game of charades with the in-laws and a glass of table wine.

The most you have to say about yourself are the things you own, other peoples' works and how much you like "playing." This is where you have to obey the "show not tell" rule in writing. A bio is a chance to showcase your personality! If it doesn't go beyond watching anime or playing Xbox then you have to discover who you really are and what's stopping that guy from coming out.

It's ok to like geek things; I am a geek. I'm wearing a shirt that says "Dragons [the other white meat]." Geek is the new trendy thing to be. In fact, it has never been easier for us to be popular. Anyone can watch CBS's The Big Bang Theory and figure that out.

I'm not in favor for teaching guys how to manipulate their way into the sack. I used to be like that, and it's just a path of shallow meaningless guilt free sex with beautiful women (ok, ignore that last part), maybe listen to Katy Perry's song "Firework." I don't really know, but I do know that if you aren't happy in life you need to make dramatic changes.

If people suck, then you suck, so don't worry about sucky dating experiences! Rather be alone that with someone who is ok with how much you suck?

Dating sites are for people who don't know how to compete in normal society--and you, sir, tkoold, compete in normal society, you just lack the self esteem. If you want to meet geeky dames, don't put yourself on a dating site where divorcees over 40 are looking for someone to tell them that they aren't overweight. Go to comic shops, music houses and various shows. Go to comic conventions, there's plenty to meet there! They're even at the market, you just have to bite your lip, throw on a blanket of confidence, be yourself, and advance!

All you need is confidence and casual attitude. Pickup lines are HUGE turnoffs and pretending you aren't yourself just doesn't work. Laidback--most key word you can ask for.
