Post Samurai X and somewhere in the Ruroni Kenshin timeframe is when this anime takes place in Kenshin series. Some people cant forget old times and stir up trouble and Kenshin has to go to work and kill some bad dudes.

Yes Samarai X the Movie, takes place after the rurouni Kenshin series, despite being named Samarai X, where as Trust & betrayal take place Before the Kenshin Series, finaly since im talking about it Samarai X reflections is the last OVA movie installment of the whole series, ALL very worth watching

Nope, Samarai X Trust & betrayal are the Very Begginings of the story, in fact for a short time they thought that was all there was going to be, then sombody went, What if we make a Anime series based off these 2 ova's of this wandering samarai So rurouni Kenshin the series was born, then Because this other Group Who did all the samarai X OVA artwork and did like the addisions of the story Said well Why dont we make 2 more OVA movies after the fact of the Kenshin Series and finish it off, and thats what you get with the Movie and reflections.
