Title: BLISTER & SORENESS
Post by: kinjo on March 12, 2010, 09:22:33 AM
On tuesday, i finally got around to going to Target and picking up a bike lock. Soon as i got home, i thought to myself I want to go bike riding. So basically I set off to bike. I just kept going and going until i was worn out. 26 miles later, i couldnt feel my legs and i was starving. I called my friend up who had a truck and he came and picked me up, we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel, my treat.
When I got home, I noticed a nasty blister, and popped it (i know gross). The following day it was so sunny I had to go for a swim, and i did. Sadly I stayed out in the sun too long so i got sun burnt.
So over the coarse of 2 days I got really sore, sun burnt and a blister. Yesterday (thursday) All i really did was lay down and rest. My body in complete pulsating pain. I mostly vegged infront of the tv. My butt hurt so sitting on the computer kinda hurt because of the bike seat from the days before.
I feel better today, its a rainy day. On the up side, i now know how far i can bike nonstop. Which is good if i want to bike somewhere, just google maps it and see how far all together. When I was younger I could do 50 miles with no sweat. I am really out of shape but hopefully that will change by summer, because i really want to surf again this year.
Sorry for the long rant, i just have been inactive for the last few days, wanted to let you guys know i am alive.

Shame shame, you know it's not healthy to sit on computers. They'll break!
Sorry to hear about your discomfort, at least you're getting back in shape.

Hey you! D:< You just prolonged your pain!
Blisters are caused when two layers of skin separate and fill with fluid: when up popped, the fluid will drain itself, and the skin just has to connect again. By popping it, you feel a high end of pain, open up the skin to allow infection and bacteria in, and make the body have to rebuild skin instead of just reconnect skin. Bacteria makes that harder for the body, so the healing process is slowed down. D:< DUN POP YAR BLISTEHS NO MOAR!
Working out is good, as is losing weight, and building up cardio endurance so you can live a long and happy life =D
YEW CAN DO EEEET! =D

I get sunburn on accident a few tiems a year cause it doesnt seem that hot out, but of course the sun is always shining wanting to BURN EVERYTHING [gunz] I usually dont notice blisters until they've sluffed off on their own and there is a hole in mah foot

You're sposed to wear it everyday, especially in summer, and especially in places with a lot of sun, like California for example
