The Reader's Guide to THE BEAST
Terminology!
Power: Any ability, extraordinary or supernatural, that was gained through the consumption of another creature.
Combining: Power + Power = Better Power
Augment: The act of permanently giving up a power to gain a boost to another power for a temporary amount of time. A discarded augmented power splits back to the two original powers that they had combined to form it, and THE BEAST gains a single power for each power that we combined to form the augmented power.
Swapping: The act of removing a Power that we currently have for another Power that we could have had in any other point in the storyline.
