I don't like Xmas but thats just me. Always puts me deep in my own thoughts about how uncertain everything is and how pretty useless it is to exist. Kinda the opposite the holiday is supposed to make you feel, haha.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving but Yeah I kind of hate Christmas as well it's just bothersome you should have to buy eeeeveryone a gift on this one holiday... why can't we just be together :(

Gewd C: I gave a handpainted stein from germany to my dad, and Thomas Kinkade snowglode with led lights and musical reenactment of his painting "Sweetheart Cottage" to my mom, car seat covers with a matching wheel thingy and visor thingy that holds CDs to my sister, an eminem tshirt with matching hat for my brother, and an airsoft M4, pistol and safety glasses to my brother.

I gave my respective brothers Citizen Kane on dvd and a rare Misfits shirt

My folks gave me shoes, a Descendents hoodie, cd's, a vinyl record player, a new iPod, and pretty nice clothes. A merry Christmas indeed.

It's amazing how ridiculously tight money gets in college. I've been borderline broke since mid-October. My parents wire me money every now and again, but I seem to be the only schmoe buying groceries around here, so it basically slips through my fingers like sand.

I don't hate xmas, the spirit of it makes me think a lot about stuff. Had a blast at my grandmas with my family for xmas eve, but was too tired/didnt have enough time really, to travel up to my moms and be back for work, so I bailed on that side of the family.

Both sides give me shit for being flippant about showing up for xmas which REALLY makes being around them great when I do show up. They've been doing their routine for years and every day is predictable for them, but for me its hardly consistent.

I'm a rebel and a rogue I guess they just don't understand, oh well. :P

Hope everyone ate some good food!
