Title: HELP!! w/ laptop!

HELPPPPP!!! [alert] [alert]
my laptop wont turn on!!! I tried everything, i even took it to best buy and they got it working.. but when I got home, it wont turn on again!! [brick2]
FREAK!! I have an essay thats due tomorrow and im so screwed! help mee.....
oky so after I unplug it and take out the battery, then holding down the power button for 30 seconds, then pluging it back in, it turns on BUT if I move the laptop AT ALL it turns off.... wtf do I do?? Whats wrong?!

my boss had that problem it was his battery supply

I was gonna say the same thing, sounds like the battery isn't sitting properly. Can you keep it plugged in and have it work?

Buy a new battery if you can. That happened to my laptop once. The battery just died, it wouldn't work unless you plugged in the normal power cord and took out the battery, as Mal said.

Yeah well I thought it was the battery too. but even when I have the laptop pluged in w/out the battery it wont turn on!!
The weird thing is.. When I finally get it turned on, I cant pick up the laptop or move it at all or it just DIES

laptops die, my best suggestion is to get all the important stuff off of it incase its not fixable

Yeah, just get everything and finish what ever you need for tomarow while you are still able to use it. even in its condition you can still use it right?

thats why i buy video games instead of laptops, i have a full blown comp, why get another smaller, suckier one o.o

Well laptops are a lot easier to carry around then a desktop computer for one thing, and they are really helpful to take to school and work ect... and work on your stuff.
Anyway, it works fine if I don't move it, I haven't moved it since last night... making it just as good as a damn desktop, but I think ill take it in tomorrow after all my classes are over and I don't need it anymore

I agree a desktop is way better for comp games, at least it has the capacity to hold them! [asia]

Yea its fixed for now. I got my laptop as a gift, I'd buy a Desktop over a laptop. Tho laptops are good for going to friends houses.

@FW i agree with that, but its kinda useless, since my friends let me use theirs

yes but showing files, or networking is easier with multiple comps
