What if I were to rent and apartment like the one Jerry has in Seinfeld? How much do you think that would cost per month?

chickan lies.

Plus dont forget to factor in other fees like water, electric, sewage, deposits for keys, garage clickers, etc.

If you work 32 hours a week above minimum wage and dont have costs like school, then you can usually afford an appartment.

Nice, you should rent it and have friends over, or get some girls and go skiing...

how many hours is that per day?

5 days a week at 6hrs a day
or
4 days a week at 8hrs a day

legally you get two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch break, so you stay an extra hour for any shift over 5hr 30 minutes. Atleast in cali.

Jobs that can earn enough to afford living on your own are never retail jobs, and they are pretty easy to get started in, you just have to find said jobs.

we live in a 2 story town house, 800 a month.

like 100 a month I believe.

You can actually get some nice appartments for that ammount.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Low-income housing in NYC is $1000 a month and apartments like Jerry Seinfeld's go around $1500-2000, even for that small ass space.

I'm paying 625/ 1 bedroom. When I signed my lease it was 599. I'm looking at a 2 bedroom after this, as Kinjo mentioned most apartments here go for 800-1000. Townhomes go for about 1000-1400 depending on the area. The ones around where I live are around 1100-1300/ month. In Regrads to Hairspray, I saw it with my parents at the cheap theatre some random Sunday. The new one wasn't all that bad. I didn't sit all the way through the Ricki Lake version.

Hairspray combined the randomest things in one play/movie.
