"Din doesn't need to explain any reason to you for why he does what he does! Stop blaming Din for your destroyed home! Even if Din didn't do it, someone else would have in his place! Din showed mercy by using such a technique in Daffodon!" Enyo shouted very defensively towards Mizu and Nimbus.
"Mercy?" Nimbus snapped at Enyo, exerting is remaining energy into his aggressive voice. "Mercy? A lot of people died in there, and that's mercy?"
Nimbus stopped suddenly, unable to continue speaking. He sat sluggishly on the floor, somewhat dazed. Whatever that outburst of energy had been, it really threw Nimbus into dizziness. And he could hardly even look Mizu and Din in the eye as they spoke to him.
Was that really it? Did I really just do that? Where the hell did that power come from?
Nimbus stood up slowly, trying to regain his composure. His back severely hurt, where his wings had just been. He held the stone weakly in his right hand.
Mizu sighed, somewhat unwilling to even attempt to break up the tension escalating in the room. She turned to Ed, her face twisting into a sort of disturbed glare. "You better do something about your foolish friend here. He's gonna lose his life quick."

"...and finally, here is the briefing room," Arion said, leading the soldiers into a small forum-like office. There were three long rows of tables, all of which included a chair. The tables and chairs were facing toward a large screen. The screen, at the moment, was dark and blank. "Here is where we shall discuss our missions and tasks in about half an hour."
"General, did you hear that sound?" Cassandra asked. She looked upward toward the ceiling as she spoke.
"Hm?" Arion stopped in his tracks. "Hear what?"
"Yes, I heard it too, Cassandra," General Pedallus replied.
"Yeah, what the hell was that?" the bald soldier chimed in. "That loud explosion?"
"I heard no explosion," Arion said firmly.
"Yeah, I heard it as well. And I felt some strange force of energy too. It came from the floor above us..." Solius added, also looking upward. Eventually, the entire squadron of Spring soldiers was staring up at the ceiling.
"Sir, is there a room you have not yet shown us?" Pedallus asked Arion.
"Yes. But nothing that you need to see. Please take a seat," Arion said. "We'll begin discussing our plans with you all soon."
(( For the unintelligent, lol, they were hearing the collision between Nimbus and Din. ))
