Brain Age 2
« on: December 10, 2007, 05:30:57 AM »
I JUST found my DS after like months! And I bought this game because it sounded really fun on the commercials! Only to find that you can only play it once a day for a few minutes, then you are blocked from playing it anymore untill the next day. There is sudoku though that you can play any time... and im mega hooked on it now >.< but damn, this is lame! A game I can only play for 3 minutes???

Anyone else "play" this at all?

Yes I'm sure it does, your only supposed to train a little a day and then see your results over a period of time. (hopefully good) But its pretty pointless when you think about it, all its is really gaging is reaction time...

I've played this, and Flash Focus, both kinda do that. It's a training excerise. Flash Focus lets you pick the events though after you've done your daily training. And if I'm not mistaken, there is another mode that lets you play the other games on BA:2.

You might be able to unlock it, after you play more and more each day, more things get unlocked

Brain Age Academy is for both the wii and the DS. Both versions are different. My girlfriend has the DS version. And wants me to buy the wii version(which we rented and while it is fun, I don't feel I really need to own it unless it drops down considerably in price.)

It came with my Wii. The thing I hate is they don't explain anything, so in game you're like WTF this has nothing to do with knowledge as figuring out what to do.

It gives you the directions for each game before hand. I felt a little smarter after playing it. Mine came with wii sports, which is pretty much collecting dust as I never feel the need to play it.
