Title: My Mom's Soap Shop!
Post by: bloo-apple on December 16, 2011, 09:57:00 PM
I just made a shop page for my mom.
http://bloo-apple.com/home-made-soap/

She makes soap, and she's trying to sell them with no luck yet.  But I think my site may help.  What do you guys think?

Actually she didn't do too well with ebay.  By the way, making sites is stressful!

Sometimes it does. After 15 years of doing it, became second nature to me.  [ele]

As for eBay you can utilize your site to help eBay sales so instead of using papal, you can have the products link to their eBay store item page.

Maybe then have the option to buy directly from you with papal, a small link to a papal checkout or add to cart. But selling on ebay being the main way of sales. This will bring in visitors and people who are specifically looking for soap. A stand alone site is hard to bring in customers unless you spam or pay for advertising.

Does this soap work well when it comes to showering? I'm getting tired of traditional soap. Does your mum do anything else super-cool, like cassette-shaped soap?

Perhaps I could take up soap carving for another art medium after I'm done with painting...

why not all the characters we've come up with!

Marv the Zombie Shampoo - "The smell of death." or even a Chick N' Slice food truck!

most home made soap is made of plants, most commonly used is hemp, aka pot, aka marajuana
