thoughts? what is it like? how much do they cost really?
how often do they need shots and tune ups? lol [music]

Cats can be cool, if its your idea you should get a Guy cat, if its to impress the GF or if you want to impress your Gf, then you may consider getting a girl cat, their diferences are rather intresting..
Cats can be lots of fun, they take care and bath themselves, you wont ever have to let it outside if you dont want to, they will completly keep mice and anything smaller than them out of the house (even reptiles and snakes as long as it is not a Gigantic cobra)
the only maitanence is the kitty litter, and the food and litter is average cost like 10$ for a 20 LB bag of either.
Male cats Love to prowl around and act like tigers, When young they have tons of energy, they are cool and welcome your attention whenever you have free time for them.
Female cats will think they are the queen of the home and will let you Know when they want your attention you dont bug them, they bug you.. and defying that rule can get you clawed. and then when they get mid aged.. you will find they will have Minor PMS issues and things.
I would also check your local vetrenarion for the state tax and health costs, in Minnesota first shots required at birth/ownership ran like 75$ and their are routine quarterly checkups and shots that run the same each time.. but it can vary state to state and stuff.

$50-$100 from a special shelter, other than that they come free. Best bet is to get a kitten, so It will mature knowing your living habits and rules.(tho it still wont obey all your rules)

Yes plus they are extra fun when they are young they will have more energy then imaginable and will attempt crazythings only when they are young.

Okay, I work at a pet store, I know this stuff!Get a male cat, they are easier to handle then females - its the opposite for dogs.
Get his stuff chopped off, or your house will be full of pee, and your clothes and everything! Females will usually still try to mark their territory even after they are spayed!
Cats really only need their first sets of shots as kittens- if you get from a shelter, the are usually all set to go w/ shots AND have their man/womanhood already take from them!
Cats are pretty much set once you get em home and give it about 2 weeks inside the house before you let him out. If he runs away, he will usually come back, I've had my cats leave for days at a time, but they always come back!
Anything else I can probably answer! (I have to tell people this stuff every day >.<)

Different breeds have different temperaments. I would suggest finding one of the many free kittens in almost all areas, since there are so many, a lot of people struggle getting rid of kittens. Boys aren't usually as affectionate (although they can be very affectionate), and sometimes like to rule the roost. They are sometimes more aggressive, and if not fixed, once they reach maturity, they spray. Every where. And it smells. They are also prone to cat fights if they come across cats outside. On the other hand, they are more independent and less demanding. They can handle themselves. Girls are calmer, after kittenhood of course (cause no kitten is calm), and usually more affectionate and attention needy. They also tend to be more fearful, so strangers and loud people (kids especially) are likely to get a swat. Depending on whether you have frequent visitors, or not, and how much time you and your girlfriend are going to put into the cat, should conclude which gender. A lot of breeders and vets suggest getting two related kittens of the same gender to keep the kittens behaved and preoccupied, problem with that is it costs more; but not by much. Its always cheaper to get boys, when it comes to veterinarian care,and you should fix both genders no matter which you get. Females can get pregnant, males pee all over. If you get them fixed at a young age, that will never be a problem. :3 Good luck on teh kitteh hunt, it won't be a mistake! Kitties are lotsa fun and energetic playful critters.

toys are cheap if yew go to the right place and if you get two, you won't really need to buy a lot most cats dont get baths, they are clean animals and hate water, some owners spray them with specialized cleaners, but for the most part wiping the down with a damp cloth is the most cleaning you'll have to do
first time shots, spaying and neutering, and yearly visits should be alright, a lot petcos do special vaccine days where the offer vaccines super cheap, and so do a lot of cheap vet clinics and places, theres tons of places that do cheap cat fixing too, because of the amount of strays; prices vary by location but as a generalized figure:

Actually, male cats are more calm the females and females can be more territorial. Male cats are quicker to trust and are very affectionate.
I like I said before, this is opposite for dogs!
and if you want to get 2 cats, get opposite sexes and obviously get them fixed!
oh btw
white cats w/ blue eyes are ALWAYS def
orange tabbys are like 98% males
calico's are like 98% females

just because it doesent Match your design doesent mean it cant be the kinjo kitty, if anything maybe you find the purrrfict cat to be the kinjo kitty and remodle the logo accordingly.
