Title: A question for all you heavy dreamers...
Post by: Flashwerewolf on June 06, 2010, 05:11:00 PM
Do you ever when you're in a deep sleep and having your crazy dream adventures but wake up, think about the dream you had and think about it as you sleep, causing it to resume?

Cause I practice it and it usually works for me. But The adventure never seems to reach a conclusion before I have to get up, or its been 12 hrs and I feel guilty for laying in bed all day.

UNTIL LAST NIGHT! I focused and focused while dreaming and awake and finally got to the end of an adventure, and I got presented with the credits rolling down in front of me... Kinda silly, no?

Anyone else get credits rolling down when they get to a solid end to a dream?

Sometimes I will wake up from a dream and get mad so I finish it on my own and like you said I will fall back to sleep doing so and continue dreaming about it.

Then I parta! [assmonster]

never credits, but i know about returning to a dream
sometimes you can't! but when you do makes it awesome
i wonder if our dreams are documented, and we get to watch them someday

I often have dreams in/ near other dream settings. Sometimes they overlap into visited areas and sometimes they are in a new area that later gets flushed out more. I've started to map it out in a sort of dream web.

Maybe you enter a different reality. The reality of you strapped to a chair, with images & stories flashing before your face!

Maybe it's just me, I must be too dangerous on the other side. Maybe you get to roam free.  [clefairy]

D: I have only had one dream that was continuous, and it was like... years after the initial dream, and it wasnt even continuous; it was me returning to the setting of the initial dream

I used to have a reoccuring dream where I was running on tracks and a train was coming! I would wake up right when I was about to get hit- every time!(I started getting that dream after the first time I watched Homeward Bound >.<)[/]

Yeah, I know what you mean about waking up, then dreaming the same dream again, I've also been able to do that a few times. No credit roll though! But then again, dreams are pretty crazy..My fave is when you wake up with a start after falling in a dream or something like that, that's the best![/]

i think the twitching is you coming out of sleep, meaning you are on the edge of sleep mode and waking up
Enter Sleep Mode; [[BEEP BOP]]== Initializing Dream Sequence #550031

FW, I've tried that countless times and to this day, no success. I only get a second dream that is similar to the previous one, but not quite a continuation.
