Really? I think that things are really good now and everything constantly gets better and better each year. Its true that the old ways of doing things is clashing against the digital age, however there are new systems and methods that are coming around that bridges the gap.
Take internet piracy in videogames; when one used to sell something, they'd lose it, giving it to another person. So who ever wanted a game, had to pay for it. Now there are digital copies that allow for people to not pay for games anymore. As this would cripple the game industry in the future, theres a new way of delivering games that thwarts piracy: Downloadable content.
Downloadable content allows for the game company to control how to get the "full game experience" by not issuing a full game standalone, so any pirated copies will only be parts of the full game. If people want to play the full game, they'll have to purchase the game via the game company's setup in order to unlock the downloadable content. Piracy will allow for people to get a taste for the game, and if they like it, they'll probably buy it since theres even more to do once they buy.
Population is going off the chart
You left out why this is considered bad, care to elaborate?
and now we don't even get a chance to relax. Not even on vacations, when people go to the beach or where ever, they end up bringing there laptop or black berry to make sure they don't fall behind.
Of course this isn't the case for everyone, people choose what jobs they have and what work-load they are willing to deal with. If they are working thru their vacations, then they should have planned things out better. Otherwise they probably enjoy what they do and just want to get away from their coworkers!!
