Title: Best weekend in a long time!

This weekend could not be going any better! Yesterday I worked an 8 hour shift and hung out with my friend Jeff the whole time, with a line or two coming in every 15 to 20 minutes. I got a great buffalo chicken Panini for lunch from the deli and had a superb break. I picked up some taco bell on the way home and what do I find on the tv? Rio [cen] ing Bravo! The best american western ever!
I fell asleep later, woke up this morning and showered, then I put on the Jazz channel on tv and made some eggs benedict on toast! I go to work in 9 minutes for a 4 1/2 hour shift and I'm feeling fine!
I love great weekends! w00t!

Another excellent day at work! Nice and short--and I had a good amount of customers! After my shift was done, I bought a caramel apple cider from the cafe, went to Target and bought Luther Vandross's Greatest Hits! WOO!

Pfft! No. You have to design these things, then print them off (the banner having to be printed off professionally, most likely, unless done on big paper with paint, taking up money and time), gotta get outta class or stay after to hang stuff and things, get special permissions, talk to administration.. totally too much effort =P

My dad told me of when he and a friend of his who was a priest was going into town so they strapped themselves onto the top of the jeepney with a case of beer and drank the whole way there.

This thread wins for the picture of the jeepney alone. I've heard many stories about them from my Mom. I plan on making a trip to the Phillipines after my passport application goes through. My Grandpa actually had one here, that thing was pimped out. Guess it kinda runs in the family?

So I was minding my business in the coffee shop, standing at the front counter when a REALLY tall man in a tight gray zip-hoodie and a puffy gray girl's hat w/ tiny backpack comes up and, in a strange deep throaty yet soft voice, says "Hi, I'll have a coffee with soy milk." Strange order, but I thought nothing of it. I prepare the coffee behind me and grab the soy milk carton. I then move back to the front counter, and plant the coffee/milk and what do I see--a bulge in a black Unitard.
Trying as hard as I can to hold back the laughs, I charge him and give him his receipt and he goes to a table in the cafe area, seeing that the back of the unitard is skin-tight against his hindquarters. I belt out an enourmous bowl of laughter and my friend from grocery, who saw the man as well, does the same.
I mentioned this fella to front desk, asking if it violates the store dress code. Apparently not.
