Pros and Cons of Where You Live
« on: January 31, 2010, 09:49:44 AM »
What are the Pros and Cons of Where You Live??

ME;

PROS: Florida, is warm, everyone is fit, tons of themeparks and things to do, tons of beaches, hurricanes

CONS: tourists and tolls

Pros: North Carolina: Everything one desires is within reach; mountains, beach, wide countryside and overcrowded city life, swamps, plains, and forests, and many historical and amusement attractions

Cons: The weather is insane. It's not uncommon to be wearing short sleeves one day and it be a blizzard the next day. The weather men are almost always wrong and never agree with each other, which makes long term trips hard to plan

I forgot to mention something: In North Carolina, there are only three seasons; hot, muddy, and frozen. That's it. And they come and go as they please, sometimes alternating days.

Minnesota

Pros: Good bar scene, hockey is a big deal, close to Canada.

Cons: Lots of snow, we are not Canada.

whisker is from PA, Kinjo o.o

I am too:

Pros: PA has a little of everything, big city Philly or Pittsburgh, and tons of small towns, country, rivers, lakes, streams, mountains, forests, ect. We have all the seasons, which is cool I guess, and we have a huge difference in climates, if you just travels a few hours in one direction. There is also a lot of history, like Gettysburg; a town where a huge key battle during the civil war took place. We preserved it still today.

Cons: PA isnt too well known, or isnt known for good things, and I can't stand the cold. Winters suck. We also dont have any real ocean side beaches and I love the beach =D My specific town is Nothing-for-Miles, PA, so its boring and dull and there is nothing for miles. We also get a lot of tourism, with the new casino, the race track, and the nature and sereneness of the summers, and in the winter we are still getting tourists who wanna see the hefty amounts of snow.
I am the creator of awesome points and therefore I have a never ending supply.

California:

pros: awesome weather, some areas(like mine) you can go to the snow and the beach in the same day. Bonfires, going outside in winter, entertainment capital of the US, art and music festivals all over, wine country, lax laws on almost everything, free thinkers, anarchists, atheists, people living in tree comunities, food from around the world all the time; everywhere, me~!

cons: horrible government system, high taxes, gang-land, crack cocaine, and the homeless. English as a second language.

:3 FW is definitely the best part of Cali

And yick, English seems to be becoming the second language of all over! We just feed into it without giving them much of a drive to learn another language too >.<
