Title: Guitar Hero IV

well im not much of a fan of the past guitar heroes partially cause i blow at guitar hero but making your own song sounds pretty good and its always a fun party game [seal]

Now Guitar Hero is just hating, It's basically Pepsi vs Coke, Rock Band is Coke, Pepsi is Guitar Hero, COKE IS BETTER. Rock Band will release new shit to beat GH4

You can do that with REAL instruments and actually get somewhere with it,

I used to take-up bass guitar, until a certain older brother totally discouraged me while I practiced a new song, saying that I "just can't play," as in I suck. Never forgave him.

thats true except that with guitar hero you can jump right in and be good an instrument takes a while to master although you are right i would rather learn a REAL instrument over playing guitar hero also im pretty sure the people who made guitar hero made rock band so i dont think they care which one does better

but because of guitar hero i started learning real guitar

Rock band is based on all band songs, while guitar hero is all about guitar solely, so pick your poison

GUITAR HERO 3 IS OUT!!! umm... i got no money, can you spair me a 60 buddy? later that day. HEY GUYS, DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THAT NEW GAME CALLED ROCK BAND!? I HEARD IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND SHIT. to bad i cant afford it from my new found bank ruptcy. freinds: this addiction has gotten you. YOU NEED TO STOP BUYING THESE GAMES.

yeah, what they do can be considered an update. but they get to reap in the money from making "new" games. rock band did the correct thing by making it so if you have internet they can give you NEW songs to play like, every week! guitar hero continues to fail.

well its not that I disagree with you guys but I think that party games help the industry a whole lot
An example would be the Wii I know the Wii is not meant to be a party system in any way but nintendos stratagey of attracting Casual gamers has sort of created this "side effect" party games and I sadly believe this newfound success in casual games will forever change the industry so I would expect more games like this to come out
But that's just my opinion/belief

well it's not nessisarly going to CHANGE the industry, but it did make a new genre or something. now we have games that many people can play together, and in one spot unlike MMOs that are ussualy done with strangers around the planet.

sorta. have you ever heard of/seen this one event were gamers around the planet go to a large warehouse like place and sit there gaming? it's actually creepy. they all just sit at there computer with no conversations with each other. i wondered why they even went there.
