i tried when i was really really young, like 4th grade or something
it was just a beer and it was so gross, then pretty much didn't do it until i was 21
maybe some wine or wine cooler here and there, but just a little

Had some beer when I was under 10, given to me by my dad, probably didn't like it. I waited till I was out of high school to do any sort of naughtiness, cause it was too stressful to even ponder sneaking around and stuff.

I've been drinking at parties and stuff since i was about 13. Not much back then but at about 15 i started drinking more. Australia isn't as strict when it comes to alcohol. I can now legally drink and I still do. But beer is not for me, i started by drinking vodka but now i drink mostly bourbon.

Ironically I used to demonize alcohol, until I actually tried it and decided that my bad family members were just retarded to begin with.

I've had vodka an orange juice, they are pretty good. But id drink vodka and whatever. Even straight, never vodka and coke though. I drink other things aswell, baileys, tequila etc.

i know so many people who demonize things then end up doing them excessively in the future like smoking cigarettes
my nephew didnt start until 22, but he was more against it than i was

I have done some drinking but I've never been drunk, or really even tipsy, went through a very short lived stage brought on by my sister who just wanted someone who could pay 50% of the price for alcohol... I guess I in the same way demonize alcohol because of over exposure to alcoholics too, but I can sometimes be paranoid since alcoholism can be genetic and it hasnt missed a generation yet. Just never had any desire to do that to the people I love, I guess.
I don't know if I'll ever have much of a drive to drink alcohol, but I'm certainly uninterested in it currently.

Its not a bad thing to be disinterested in Alcohol, and sometimes being the only sober one can be a lot of fun. If you sit there and be bitter about it then thats your fault, but if you use it to mess with drunk people and be the only one who remembers the stupid things they do, its worth it.

I dunno, it was given to my now roomie as his birthday present or something like a year ago. Poured it over the special spoon and sugar cube and everythin. ITS LICORICE FLAVORED, which makes it amazing.

XD I was just at a party like that, except there was one other guy who doesnt drink either, XD We laughed so hard at the drunk guys... my friend matt walked into the door, then tried to open it and smashed it into his head and my other friend just started singing random irish songs (hes very irish, accent and all so it was funnnny)

Ugh you're one of THOSE. There was this kid who'd always collect peoples belts or shirts, EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. And he'd get all angry if you didn't do it, not to mention he was a black belt. One time, a deer found its way inside during a party, oh my gosh was everyone confused.

I personally didnt drink underage except for like 2 times in my life once when i was 13 and again when i was 14 just like sips of a beer, nothin major.. Now not of fault of my own but 3 times in my life now ive gotten 19 and 20 year old girls drunk when either they told me they were old enough or they looked old enough to me and didnt say anything..

beer is an aquired taste, if you make your self drink it occasionally for like 3 days Straight you may not like it then and not drink it but after a week youll want a Beer and then when you drink it you will find it GOOD!!
also All beers are different so just try around many different brands and many different flavors of same brands.

Have had about a dozen kinds of vodka, whiskey(bourbon), rum, wine, and close to 100 kinds of beer. Theres plenty out there and a lot of it ain't bad!!

Depends on the proof, lots of alcohol from lots of places have different proofs! Learning how proofs work(alcohol content by volume) is an important step in being a responsible drinker!!! Heineken is a lager and has a skunky fizzy taste thats pretty watery. Moosehead is better.
AND IT WILL PREVENT YOU FROM HAVING A BAD DRINK AND A BAD TIME!
HARD ALCOHOL Most common is 40% Alcohol by volume, or 80proof. Basically look at the bottle or whatever and double the %age and thats the proof number!
Examples would be Bacardi, Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, Jose Cuervo, Jack Daniels.
Local, imported, or select hard alcohol can come in ranges a little below to higher than 40%.
100proof is popular with whiskey and rum, like Wild Turkey or Captain Morgan 100proof. Beefeater is close to 100proof and is a good gin.
Higher than that are the extremes of hard alcohol, such as Bacardi 151(151proof). 151 proof is almost two shots in one in terms of alcohol content(80proofx2=160), so you need to drink less of these.
FUN FACT! Around 100proof and up, alcohol is in such a high percentage in a shot that they will be flammable! BE CAREFUL YOU CAN SET EVERYTHING ON FIRE.
WINE AND SPIRITS Wine is weak-sauce in terms of alcohol by volume, the highest being around 14%(which is when the alcohol created by the yeast will in turn kill the yeast). You can easily down a bottle, but it will catch up to you soon enough, and isn't very fruity or appealing to a kid's pallet.
Spirits are what you mix with actual alcohol to create mixed drinks, these usually are low in alcohol content and shouldn't be consumed by themselves because that is lame.
Mixed drinks using spirits will make your drink stronger, and thus you cannot consume too many of these too fast or bad things will happen(like ghosts and vomiting).
Sake! It is made very similar to how wine is made, but uses a fungi, so it can reach higher proofs than wine(but not much higher). Dry sake is best for inexperienced drinkers.
BEER Beer is the cheapest purchase one can make when buying alcohol, thus is the most popular. Its got a low alcohol content by volume(anywhere from 3-9%), but has a lot more volume than a shot, so it evens out. Its more filling than a shot, so its harder to over-drink with beer, as you'll soon be peeing every 2 minutes.
Beer has the most leverage in terms of flavors, so theres more of a chance you'll find a brew you like than a kind of rum, vodka, etc. THO ALL WILL BE BITTER.
THE LAW General american law concerning alcohol is having one drink per hour, being 1 beer, or 1 shot(since by volume they both have about the same alcohol content, unless you are having a strong shot higher than 80proof).
Your BMI(Body mass index) will alter how many drinks you can handle, tho its always best to keep tabs on what you've dranken and how long its been. Sometimes you won't feel the effects, so you'll go for another one. THEN BAM BOTH HIT YOU AT THE SAME TIME OH NOES.
