Captain Lou Albano was a wrestling LEGEND!!! He revolutionized the roles of managers in the 80's, starred in a Cyndi Lauper video and helped bring professional wrestling to the mainstream audience, and yes, was Mario in the Super Mario Brothers Super Show. As for the guy who played Mario in the movie, that was Bob Hoskins. Not Captain Lou. The Captain will be missed, no man will ever again be able to pull off the crazy binder beard like he could. May he rest peacefully in the great sqaured circle in the sky.
