a computer is a computer. that's all i know. the type of computer you buy or who you get it from does not really matter. the only things that are important in a computer are graphics card, ram, hard drive, and price. so if two computers with same specs are at a store but with different prices you would obviously go for the one that doesent cost as much. so instead of asking the make of the computer you should be asking the specs, or look at websites/stores for computers with good specs and low price.

I suggest to NEVER buy an Emachine. They have a very short lifespan and have a long history of having bad powersupplies and CPU crashes. Games only run well on them in the first few months and then it's all down hill.

A gaming computer, I recommend a HPs, Dells, or anything with a dual or quadcore CPU.

Good places to buy computers would be COMPUSA or Bestbuy.
Here is a decent gaming computer for a fair price:

OR if you want, you can order customly built computers off the internet that which is what I do if you want a computer overclocked as I like mine.

This is the computer I'm in the middle of customly ordering, I may change a few things.
Visionman GMA-377X00 AMD Gaming PC - AMD Phenom X4 9850 Quad Core / 4GB DDR2-1066(RAM), 150GB Raptor, 1TB SATA II(HARD DRIVE), Blu-Ray Player, DVDRW-LS, ATIRadeon HD3870 1GB(VRAM), Media Reader, Gigabit, Vista Ultimate ( I hate Vista, but I deal with it).
