Title: Horah For Technology (Not really)

Alright so I got a new gpu for my comp but for some reason whenever i install it and then install the drivers off the cd nothing happens. My computer wont recognize it and im not sure why. I have done everything I can and still no result. any suggestions?
Btw my comp specs are 530W PSU MSI K9A2 Platinum and the card i installed is a xfx 5770 1 gb xxx edition
