Title: Help in doing flash growing lines

Hi,

I would like to ask how do I animate lines to grow?I have tried various ways but it still doesnt work for me, so I would like to ask how you people does it :)

I never heard the term growing up. I think you might mean shape tween.

You could either do it Frame-By-Frame or perhaps by shape tweening- at the start of the tween have just a dot with the pen tool and at the end of the tween, or segment of the tween, have the desired length of the line you want. There are plenty of more complicated yet more efficient ways to do it, though. If you're looking for absolute accuracy then you'll be getting into a bit more complicated stuff.

@kinjokid : Thanks, that doesn't help me in the lines. :(

@Spenner: I tried, but it doesn't work too ><

This is something I wanted to do, but the lines of my should be slanted coming out.--> http://www.flashperfection.com/tutorials/Moving-lines-74148.html , but i'm still unable to do need the guide of you guys. :)

Maybe making a mask that then moves, revealing more of the line that is pre-drawn will give you the effect you want.
