Yeah, apparently if you tried to find an empty seat while pregnant, you'll get fined.

Their subways seem different than the one I use over on the west coast. Pregnant lady could just stand as there are hand rails. Or she could ask for someone to offer up their seat to be nice.
If she is tired/exhausted, she has had all those months to become adjusted with the changes to her body and altho tiresome, shouldn't be reason to break rules.
If there are rules prohibiting it,then it is probably hazardous to go between trains as the connected parts move around a lot; not an ideal place for a woman with child.

@article: it was dangerous and stupid and she should have asked for a seat or stood, but rules are rules and she should be fined because she is a regular person and shouldnt use pregnancy for the perks

True that. I can't just use the fact that I am pregnant and that I could be due any minute too.. to make other people's life miserable, so why should she?

Rightfully at 8 months pregnant someone should have offered though... i mean.. not that you guys could relate, but periods can hurt so bad, getting up out of bed in the morning makes you wanna cry, so I can just imagine childbearing o.o
But, she shouldnt have endangered herself and her child or thought pregnancy made it so that she didnt have to adhere to laws, and furthermore its only $75 which isnt that bad..
