Title: Harry potter and the Half Blood prince
Post by: tkoold on July 16, 2009, 03:11:02 AM
What can i say Wow, Awesome movie.

And i think its remarkable, How well wrote the whole story is, and its not happy its ever tragic, but The movie was incredibly well done, Serious yet comical all around there are no faults of the movie and theres things that catch you off guard and the movie is ever intresting.

as easy as it is to make fun of the harry potter series and say its a nerd thing or whatever, these movies have become Great detective movies full of action and a very dark story, and each movie becomes more grim mixed in perfictly with a bit of commedy and romance its really full of entertainment and a remarkable film.

I am going to see harry potter today in imax
I enjoy all big budget movies, especially if its about magic!
i personally think harry potter movies need more blood gore and more cool magic fighting
ive been disapointed the first 6, the last one finally had something but harry potter used the same old move...

Yeah I agree. This movie was great, but it didn't have as much action as I thought it would have, but Harry Potter movies are always epic.

The first two are the warm up to the series to know the ins and outs of hogwartz and everything involved in it, and not like the rest at all, if you ever Watch the rest of the second and move on to the 3rd and 4th youll find yourself immersed and also find that its a Much darker series, filled with death, deception and tragedy.

GAHHHHHHH and then the pacing was like non-existant... yesh... i learned never to re-read books before movies.... *just had to rant that* ... wasn't actually too bad of a movie in the end though... yay~! :D

ABSOLUTELY BORING.... seriously this movie was dumb
it was talk talk talk talk, harry is weak, dumboldoor is powerful
seriously its like an anime, where the main character doesn't get stronger, the same moves are recycled over and over
disappointed i am, very much so
also the actress to be harrys gf, rons sister shes goofy looking doesn't even match harry
also this is the 2nd time it was all about relationships and love
it should be about fighting and learning new moves
oh and voldamort wasn't even shown once... disappointed

the reason it sucked, is because the writer is some European chick, so of coarse its going to be boring

o.o This movie... has the crowds piling in. Things have been incredibly busy at work.

Silly Potter people... =D I will try and get review from them ;D See how many people liked it, compared to how many were disappointed.

I'm surprised at how many people went to see this. These movies are pretty crappy and uninteresting. Plus I watch action movies.

Well, here is what I gathered today about the movie:

It was alright, but not spectacular, the beginning was hard to follow, and the ease between movies was crappy. It was a good movie, but nothing to craze over, all in all, it was about 50/50 between liked and disliked, and many felt a lot of parts from the book, that were important, were either altered in the movie or just taken out completely.

to think they have 6 of these movies... and still have more..

That's because when the movies started to make money, the lousy author started cranking out MORE book to rake in more cash from books AND movies selling so much!

i dont see why its really boring, but i guess its the generation of emos and over emotional people
after all anime is popular

Yeah Anime is very popular. I don't see why the heck emos get all emotional and suicidal over stupid crap. The seem all dark and spooky.

More like dorky and girly. Nothing scary about them. They are all hurting inside, letting there emotions and subconscious take over.

Yeah, but I never understood why...
What wrong with emo people? Are their lives that effed up?

No, not usually... People have different stress capacities, and what starts out as little stresses, becomes anxiety, and develops into depression. Depression, unlike what most people assume is deep sorrow, is actually not what it seems to be. If you are sad for a week, it doesn't mean you are depressed, it means you are down. Depression is a long term thing, often confused with just plain sadness. Actually, you don't have to be sad to be depressed. Having a lack of any kind of motivation for a long period of time is depression.

Most people cry "depression" just because they want the attention however, when its either just sorrow, or as simple as nothing more than that desire for attention. Most emos just like the style and want an excuse to paint their nails and wear tight pants so they label themselves depressed, dress like it, and go about their lives as usual.

Then emos are often confused with goths, in the high school stereotype chain. Not that I go with stereotypes much, but I've noticed with a lot of goths, its more a fascination with the look, than so necro loving freak show, and they just conform to what they think people want them to be. A lot of people choose to be goth because the look is intimidating, and if people  [cen] with them a lot, going goth is an easy solution. People don't  [cen] with scary goths, they feel a sense of intimidation.

Well... I'm done ranting...

It was her idea to see this movie, actually--I told her that the choice of movie was up to her. Unfortunately, it wasn't much more than a friendly gettogether that ended in a hug.

It's odd how harmless children's books about wizards have become this black magic mess. Soon enough I'm sure some Slitheryn kid will try to daterape Hermione.

You know what I'm talking about--it's just becoming so adult.

I can't help but think of Luther Vandross's hit 'Never Too Much' when I think of this movie.

I mean no disrespect, but to be completely honest with you, I thought this movie sucked. The story part was great. What got me was that it was rated "PG" not "PG-13" indicating that there is less violent action in the movie. Now in the previous Harry Potter movies, there was a lot of fighting and awesome action. That's what got me into seeing the movies. Now then this one came out... Yeah. I'm not saying the WHOLE movie sucked. Just the lack of action. That's all. I can't wait till the 7th and finally movie comes out. It should (and better be) EPIC! lol [dbz]
