I am making a suggestion that we should have a Paranormal/Creepy section for people who believe in ghosts, aliens, bigfoot, and more because I've been having ghosts and I want somewhere I can post it and people can relate and look towards posting.
We haven't had a new section in awhile and I believe stuff like this will bring in a nice crowd if we get it active. :) [hide]
plus I like scary things it can be an 18+ section scary images allowed..

hmm, not sure there is that much of a demand for Paranormal/Creepy stuff compared to subjects like Justin Bieber, Mcdonalds, Eskimos
how about a new section called "Chickanbone's Bieber Fever"

we have a lot of sections that are not really used, maybe if we deducted one, we could replace it
like the yoshi one, or movies and tv, because that can just all be put into general

what? but people view the threads?
If you take away the Computer section that could take away from a non member coming to the 4M to look up how to fix their computer even though their aren't any threads like that.
In the VideoGame section we need sub sections like League Of Legends, CounterStrike, Blah blah blaaaah
Games that are really popular like WoW.
In the Computer section we need posts that are informative and members ask questions on how to fix an issue with a program they have downloaded or anything.
Taking away a section doesn't sound good. Why not just make a media section and link up the Games and Movies section as sub categories.
Every website Forum that has had a paranormal activity section has actually done pretty well.
the GameFAQ's forums have brought in members with PA MMORPG forums
and others to boot like the NewGrounds forums.
We have to always be changing the 4M to increase members. These are many good suggestions they don't have to be fulfilled but I would at least think about it the 4M could be spawned all over google for people searching "Ghost Video" or "Ghost Pictures" and people will be compelled to share their experiences.
You can't really lose with a new section It's either it works or it just sits there and on the internet it doesn't really take that much to ignore a section you don't want to look at. Every section is needed not now but maybe in the future.
(no tl dr please this is serious XD)
I could see sections like the yoshi one and ect missing but theme based are always needed don't you think?

Actually I have to agree with Chickan on this one, hes right with that post above mine... I've no problem working on some game info and review threads for the games I play, try stuff like... Dragon Age, Skyrim is super popular right now, Call of Duty, Battlefield, I love Halo, Dynasty Warriors is fun, Dead Island I bought but havent played yet, I'm working on some bugs with it, Sims is possible, could post some downloadable content for that, might bring more girls to the 4M :Dc, and uhmm.... Grand Theft Auto too.... post hints, cheats, and member made walk throughs along with concepts, quirks, member made content, and funny bloopers, like when we take screenshots in CA of us getting stuck in awkward places on the map :P
It would also be good to post about free MMORPGS, FPS, and RP games- people are constantly searching for decent games online downloadable and free, and those are the popular ones right now. Start a minecraft subsection- we have minecrafters on 4M and its so popular atm, it would draw people in.
I'm about to do some major repairs on laptop, I can make a topic on the process and stuffs, and I was helping a friend with a common LAN problem I know I've gotten a lot, regarding connecting to computers using a cable so he could LAN party with his other battle buddies, I could put that on there too- discuss LAN party options such as Hamachi or RJ-45 Cables.. And you guys can contribute your technie knowledge too :Dc
Paranormal activity, if correctly implemented would also not be such a bad attempt- could at least try it, you already have a few interested members- FW has tons of paranormal content to ad, Chickan is game, and I'm up for it too :)

Thanks Addy I thought this thread was dead for sure haha didn't want to bump it.
I am really big on MMORPG's always have been so I can make my reviews along with video reviews so youtube can possibly bring in some more people.
but I'm only going to do it when I feel for it due to the fact I'm not that reliable when it comes to set dates and always being there so it only depends.
People love creepy stuff I don't know what it is I guess it's cool when you can relate to it :D! I was hoping this thread would become a suggestion thread but alas.

First of all, you moved the roleplay section and i noticed it as soon as i got on 4M when i was back from basic :l I was saddened by this as all of basic I thought of tons of ways I wanted to improve the RP section and here at base I've found a number of incredibly nerdy individuals that would roleplay.. I was slowly befriending and planning on pulling into the 4M community :3
1 Up Island was a useless effort when you tried to revive it, theres been no new content in so long and yoshi 1 up never planned on making more, it looks good but it has absolutely no content worth looking at- turn it into a paranormal activity section, you have a lot of people interested in such- in fact, a large part of 4M watches a creepy web series together called Marble Hornets featuring "Slender Man." It would be perfect to discuss thoughts on the series :3

I concur, I think that a paranormal section would be a great idea, although I HIGHLY suggest not calling it Paranormal Activity. That would just give us an unfortunate rep of sorts. Could just refer to it as Paranormal Board or Paranormal Section.4
as for a section avatar, might I suggest something along the lines of this?

maybe Paranormal and Bizarre (P&B) I don't know X) just thoughts.
but yes once we get it up we have to fill it with lots of creepy stuff lol. Bigfoot, Aliens, Zombies, Slenderman, Creepy Phone Calls the works :D

Well for one both Gears and MineCraft aren't FPS
also You could do that but you aren't able to add sub/sub categories in these sections?

Yesterday I tried to install a kind of quiz system (the only one of it's kind for our forum) I tried every version, just couldn't get it to work right.... It said it wasn't compatible

yeah BBS's back in the day were kinda similar, you either get it all to work magically and when you do your stuck and can never do forward, Or you tinker with stuff and absolutly nthing works and you contemplate your skills and abilities to no end and say WTF how does any of this work?
