Title: Pokemon...
Post by: Red on May 06, 2009, 08:10:42 AM
So, I was hanging out with my nephew last weekend, and he showed me all of his pokemon cards. I swear, I didn't know even twenty percent of them. It's depressing man!

I can still name the first 150, but after that I'm lost. I think I quit on the whole pokemon thing (in exception of the awesome video games) around the time the Orange League or whatever started after Ash's depressing loss at the tournament. I can only name a few newer ones, but that's it.

Man, times sure have changed!

Oh God, Pokemon...

I used to collect all the cards and went crazy for those holographic ones, even if they were "fake" or whatever.

But I never got the hang of playing the actual game, those colored beads and the meanings on the cards were too complex for my 5 year old brain.

I taught my dad how to play Pokemon Cards. My step-cousin wants me to teach him, but he can't ever remember to get more energy cards. he has like 6.

I found my Red and Blue over the weekend along with Zelda DX

I use to have a kickass deck that I called the "WhirlWind Deck"

Because I'm not good at naming things.

But also, because I had Pidgey's and the Gust of Wind card that was cheap as hell.

I miss being 12 and playing Pokemon TGC
