I explained the weakness. I guess I should have said it differently, his weakness is the fact that he can die. also you partially explained it. you said his opponents were strong. but just weak enough for them to die. and die is what they did. meaning, with enough power you can KILL goku. superman on the other hand, can not die. well unless you have Kryptonite.

Goku has died handfulls of times and has come back to life.

In a brawl, its a toss up.
Can Superman see chi waves?
They both are honorable and wouldn't fight dirty.
Goku can power up, and has senzu beans to instantly heal himself.
Superman has done a lot of rediculous stuff over the decades.

me playing favorites? nawww man, I do personally like Goku better than Superman, but as far as power... Goku man. Now Superman is strong and fast, but his opponents are weaker than Goku's opponents. I don't think Superman can take on Broly, Cell, Frieza, Cooler, Majin Buu, and Bojack one at a time and live to see another day.

your stupid tomp. that CHILD happens to be Gohan SON of Goku. He was a super saiyan 2 and at the time way stronger and faster than Goku.

Goku is many times faster than Superman.

yeah Goku does get tired as a super saiyan after a long time. Goku doesnt need that much time to beat Superman. Goku does not even have to be a super saiyan.

What does going Super Saiyan have to do with anything? Just because he can go super saiyan doesn't mean he can survive the stuff Superman can. Goku was defeated by the Androids when they first apeared WHILE GOING SUPER SAIYAN, he also died when cell blew himself up WHILE HE WAS GOING SUPER SAIYAN. Super Saiyan 4 wasn't even in the original manga it was only added to the spin off series Dragonball GT, but wait you're a huge Dragon Ball fan aren't you? So I assume you already knew that. Superman flew into the core of a star, which is billions of megatons of compressed metal and flaming gasses, and came out unfazed.

where in the world did my post of super explanation goodness go? oh well. lets see...superman has been in like, 20 different stories. which one are you talking about? the movies? the comics? the original cartoon? the justice league? the other justice league? ya, superman had the same basic powers in all of them, but his power level where different in every single one of them. i remember in one of them, they put tracking devices on superman and flash, and tracked the race to see who was faster. first to circle the planet first wins. took them both quite a while i must say. definately couldnt travel at the speed of light. so might i add, we are all thinking of superman from seperate realities?

well you see, thats not exactly what i was talking about. dbz has one story line, and follows that all the way. there are 20 different superman shows, and each of them are different, and have nothing to do with each other. you cant really say the peak of superman, because which one is his peak? which one is the latest and strongest superman? they dont go in order, and when they made one superman show, they didnt really think, hey, lets make it match the other ones. its more like they just stole the superhero from one story, and put it in a different one.

...anyway, so what if Goku made a huge Spirt Bomb and condensed it within himself like he did when he destroyed Android 13. I wrote a compare and contrast paper about this topic for a highschool class for kicks and have done a shit load of research on it. And from all the research i've done Goku does pretty much win but he does have his weaknesses he is really really stupid and ignorant but superman as more weakness than kryptonite, he is weak to magical effects and psionic effects but Goku's strength and powers trump his 1000 to 1

Huh... The battle between Goku and Superman will never end until they actually fight. People that believe Superman would win state that, "Superman came first" or because "Superman is an icon." Now I'm not saying I don't like Superman. I like his capabilities and desire to save people, but when you compare him to Goku... Superman has no technique like Goku does. Superman fights based on brute strength. Goku could simply dodge with ease, but people will still disagree and say Superman is faster than Goku because Superman is "faster than a speeding bullet" or "faster than the speed of sound." Now if you compare Goku's powers to Superman's powers, Goku has the upper hand. Goku has the upper hand in pretty much everything when it comes to fighting, not to mention Goku can also undergo numerous Super Saiyan transformations that make him several times stronger, speed and strength wise. But of course everyone already knows that, but they never put it into account against Superman. I have a ton of respect for Superman. He is one of my favorite superheros of all time, but Goku vs Superman? I'm sorry Superman, but Goku wins. Plus this battle won't go to the death unless Goku, Superman, or both are fighting each other based on a lie. So if they were to fight, it would be a friendly battle that goes on until one is incapable of fighting anymore. Either way, I see Goku coming out on top.

I liked 17 the best, and in GT he became rediculous when he became Super Android 17.

Yeah. I understood the whole Cell thing, but they portrayed it horribly and drew it out way too long. I liked it better when there were more japanese cultural bad guys than science fiction bad guys.

Yeah thats when I began to watch with dissapointment. The first half of DBZ was great with unique bad guys. Frieza was cool too, since it had a few transformations and was epic. But after that, the bad guys were all the same just transforming and transforming.  Of course there were a handful of minor bad guys who were around, but the focus was on these generic baddies. GT was somewhat repetitive in that the bad guys were all connected to the dragon balls, but they handled them a lot better in writing their scripts.

I would have to say that Android 13 is my favorite. He's not the strongest Android, but in the the movie he was just epicly awesome when he transformed into the blue form.

Super Android 17 is by far the strongest Android I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
