Ryubi gave Void an uncomfortable expression, "Mistress? Don't call me that. You're just my subordinate, if anything, you are my partner." Ryubi scolded. She sighed, folding her arms.

"Ryubi." Draco boomed suddenly.

"Y-yes?" Ryubi answered, quite startled.

"You are to go to Winter Nation and speak with General Nauvi of Tsunami about his future plans and motives." Draco announced. "That is your mission. But one last thing... Void, you are to keep your mind reading ability a secret from everyone. But you may use it freely in order to help us gather information." Draco warned. "You are both dismissed."

"Yes, Master Draco!" Ryubi replied proudly. "Let's go Void." Ryubi said as she began exiting towards the elevator from which they came.

(( Quit it with the OOC. XP ))

An outrageously powerful electrical energy surged through Nimbus' body at that moment. He hardly knew how to react to it. In fact, his body didn't give him much of a choice. He halted in mid-air, stopped by the electrical attack.

"ARRRRRRHHHHH!!!!" Nimbus shrieked, then his wings collapsed back inside of him as he crashed to the floor. White and gold feathers still remained in the air, drifting to the floor as shimmering petals of light.

Dammit...that didn't last long enough...I could've killed him right there! I just know it!

Panicked, Mizu stood over Nimbus in a mix of frustration and relief.

"You better take a break," she said. "Relax. You did it. It's okay now." Holy hell, I was sure someone was gonna die right there on the spot.

Mizu glanced at Enyo. Hm. She went easy on him. Maybe Wrath's not so bloodthirsty after all.
Nimbus staggered to his feet, his eyes no longer open.

"What...comes next?" Nimbus moaned.

"No, you need to take a brea--"

"What should I do next!? I'm ready for the next lesson, dammit!"

Mizu slapped Nimbus once more, this time harder than ever.

"I said take a break! Sit down, now!" Mizu barked. Nimbus gave a her a slight glare, then took a seat near the wall. "Now would one of you care to tell me what that was all about??"

Mizu snapped first towards Din, demanding an explanation.

Din stared emotionlessly Mizu who was depending an answer of him, though deep down Din was deeply sorry to Nimbus. Din said nothing.

Enyo remained proudly in front of Din. "Din doesn't need to explain any reason to you for why he does what he does! Stop blaming Din for your destroyed home! Even if Din didn't do it, someone else would have in his place! Din showed mercy by using such a technique in Daffodon!" Enyo shouted very defensively towards Mizu and Nimbus.

Rena stood silently, not sure if she should get involved...

Ed stared at the party intensely.  It was strange the way the woman slapped Nimbus over and over again without retaliation.  Of course what had just happened intrigued Ed, he surveyed the scene as he saw the gold and white feathers drift slowly to the floor.  Clearly, he desperately wants to fight for what he believes is right, Ed thought intently.

"I don't know, I think Nimbus deserves an explanation," Ed said, more in congruence with Mizu's demand to know what's going on.  Ed was more inclined to discuss the history, for he shared such indelicacies.

Maxui fell to the ground with a violent thud as hex released him; Maxui lay there in on the ground his legs were weak now he was being held under low gravity. Maxui looked up at Hex and smiled a toothy grin then he began pulling himself up from the ground the reds and blacks that was his hair in his eyes.

“well now that we all have gotten to know who the intruder is how about we go see the guy who runs the show around here.” Maxui walked past Hex giving him a snarky look following behind Djin.

Maxui walked with heavy legs behind the shadowy man, he walked at a brisk pace that Maxui found harder to match at the particular moment. Looking at where they were headed there was a small door that looked like an elevator.

“now we go up or were going down.” Maxui looked ahead not knowing what was in waiting for him.

Ryubi who was accompanied by Void, were now inside the large hangar of Wrath's mighty internal shipyard. The room always loud and noisy as mechanics continuously worked on new equipment and soldiers prepared airships. A small transfer ship was on deck to embark, with it's large doors wide open and welcoming to Ryubi and Void.

Two soldiers stationed on both sides of the ramp leading inside the small transfer ship saluted Ryubi as she boarded the ship with her head held high as Second General of Wrath should.

After Ryubi and Void completely entered the small yet comfortable transfer ship, the two soldiers  turned and followed them on board. They were to be their escorts their entire time away from headquarters. Ryubi sat down in an extremely comfy looking chair that looked to be of a soft leather. She looked out the window and motioned for Void to sit in the seat directly in front of her where a seat just like her own was stationed.

The two soldiers went to the cockpit of the transfer ship to alert the polite to embark and shut the open door. "Did you expect a larger aircraft for someone of my status?" Ryubi asked Void as the door slowly shut automatically from a touch of a button which came from the pilot and the ship began to move.

---------------------------------------------------

Djin pressed the glowing yellow button on the small panel next tot he elevator door and they swung open. Djin stepped inside the elevator and turned to face Maxui. "Come." He said firmly but with a blank expression. "You're coming to my quarters which is on the second to last floor." Djin explained.

Void sat down in the seat that Ryubi indicated and shrugged.
“To me it does not matter, honestly why waste time with Ships and such when you could just teleport?” He sighed. “But if bigger means more status then yes, I was expecting more.”
Void let his mind wonder aimlessly as the ship continued toward its destination.
“Ryubi, you never answered my question. Do you want to learn how to read minds or not?” Void asked in a soft tone.

Ryubi stared at Void, her new partner. "To be honest, I would rather not know." Ryubi started. "Knowing the truth is one thing, but prying into the minds of others isn't appealing to me. I'm sure any other members of Wrath would jump at the opportunity, but I'm a little different than them. Don't take it personally, but it's just not for me." Ryubi replied to Void.

Ryubi sighed, touching her hand to her head and leaning on it. "It's going to take about a day to arrive. It is too bad that teleporting isn't an option for us. Wherever you came from, the people must have it pretty easy." Ryubi commented. "But I would rather not know about your home world or wherever you came from because it would only flood my mind with useless information that would interfere with the task given to me." She explained to Void.

Maxui looked at Djin as he pressed the button to open the elevator doors. Looking at the plainness that was the interior of the elevator Maxui thought to himself.

Well why in the world would he be taking me to his room? Well maybe he will try and silence me once and for all so I can’t talk to Draco. Well if it does end up being that way I will surely give him a fight that he will remember for years to come….. That’s if he survives.

With the last thoughts Maxui stepped into the elevator averting his eyes from Djin’s face and looking straight toward the doors. Maxui’s could hear nothing but the deep humming of the elevator and his heavy breathing.

“Why are you taking me to your quarters?” Maxui looked at Djin from the corner of his eyes.

Djin didn't look at Maxui as he spoke, he kept his attention forward towards the door. "To listen about more of who you are. Then I can come to a conclusion of what I'm going to do with you. I'm being merciful, which is a rare thing." Djin replied. The elevator continued to drop for a few moments and then the door swung open from both sides. Djin entered into the hallway which appeared to be just like the previous one but it seems to have a more high class feeling to it as the walls had some vibrant looking paintings and the lights were no longer strictly of a fortress setting, but of a regular mansion feeling to them as if this was one big house now and not a headquarters.

"This floor is for Officers and other high ranking members. The lower you go, the high ranking it gets." Djin expained as he made his way down the hallway to the right.

(( That floor is also the same floor Hex's, Enyo's, and Din's rooms are. As well as Ryubi. ))

Maxui looked at Djin one more time before stepping out of the elevator and looking around the floor that all the high ranking officers called home. The whole outlook was spacious with a lot of room between rooms, probably to give them space from each other; people with power that they all posses cannot live in close quarters for too long before they are at each other’s necks. The rooms all had grand doors and the whole area seemed like something that a family’s home would consist of.

“I imagine that all of you are really close… and what not; this little establishment is decent I like it. Which one is your room?” Maxui looked at Djin and threw his scarlet red scarf around his neck as he turned walking down the hall. “ I hope that one fellow that grabbed me will not be on this level…..”

"My room is the very last door at the end of the hallway." Djin replied as he approached the door which was staring the entire hallway in the face since it was the only one not lined up against the walls. "And yes, Hex is on this level. He is Third Officer." Djin added as he opened his door.

The room was large, much larger than Ryubi's room or the other Officers. Djin appeared to have his own house with a living room as the room which you entered, a kitchen to the left, and his bedroom to the right. It was a plain setup, yet elegant at the same time.

"Sit down." Djin suggested as he motioned for Maxui to be seated on the large leather couch which made it's way halfway around the room. Perhaps it was used for large meetings and discussions.

"Tell me exactly what you want from us." Djin said.

Maxui looked at the chair that Djin just offered him and smiled as he took the seat. Maxui looked around the down at the backside of his hands as he looked up at Djin and then back at his hands. Leaning forward a little Maxui spoke.

“You want to see something? I have a very distinctive tattoo here.” Le’scott stood up pointing to the back of his neck. Turning around he began unwrapping the scarf and keeping his eyes on Djin the entire time. Turning back around Maxui showed off the tattoo of the star on his neck. “I call it a tattoo but my father tells me that when he found me it was there, so he assumes that I got it at birth.” Maxui sat back down on the chair dropping his scarf on the ground.

“I don’t expect you guys to know anything, but there is only two organizations that could possibly know anything about where my true parents are. Wrath and Tsunami…..” Maxui looked up at Djin looking for a response but got nothing.

“I don’t think telling my entire story will be the right thing to do now there is too much stuff their and it probably will bore you but this I will reveal.” Maxui looked the ground. “ the last mark that I had was a general of a army that was going to try to take over the underworld of the autumn nation… when I stuck Nala the Black into his gut and looked him into the eyes he said to me…. He said that everything was as it seemed and that the prophecy was upheld.” Maxui sat back in his chair the crossed his legs. “of course that didn’t mean anything to me in the till recently… it made me think that I am a part of something bigger than just a set of mercenaries. So I set out to find answerers and you guys caught my attention.”

Maxui squinted at Djin and said. “I don’t think someone that has two different kinds of zoom in each of his eyes is normal…you understand” Maxui said in a soft voice that set the whole room up for silence.

Djin smirked as he saw Maxui's tattoo. "I know what it is." Djin stated. "But if you want to know more, you will have to work for me." Djin added. "Working for Wrath would also mean you have access to our files. You also have a greater chance of figure things out on our missions. What do you say?"

(( Erggh, Red, my computer is not letting me respond to your PM. ))

"Mercy?" Nimbus snapped at Enyo, exerting is remaining energy into his aggressive voice. "Mercy? A lot of people died in there, and that's mercy?"

Nimbus stopped suddenly, unable to continue speaking. He sat sluggishly on the floor, somewhat dazed. Whatever that outburst of energy had been, it really threw Nimbus into dizziness. And he could hardly even look Mizu and Din in the eye as they spoke to him.

Was that really it? Did I really just do that? Where the hell did that power come from?

Nimbus stood up slowly, trying to regain his composure. His back severely hurt, where his wings had just been. He held the stone weakly in his right hand.

Mizu sighed, somewhat unwilling to even attempt to break up the tension escalating in the room. She turned to Ed, her face twisting into a sort of disturbed glare. "You better do something about your foolish friend here. He's gonna lose his life quick."

///////

"...and finally, here is the briefing room," Arion said, leading the soldiers into a small forum-like office. There were three long rows of tables, all of which included a chair. The tables and chairs were facing toward a large screen. The screen, at the moment, was dark and blank. "Here is where we shall discuss our missions and tasks in about half an hour."

"General, did you hear that sound?" Cassandra asked. She looked upward toward the ceiling as she spoke.

"Hm?" Arion stopped in his tracks. "Hear what?"

"Yes, I heard it too, Cassandra," General Pedallus replied.

"Yeah, what the hell was that?" the bald soldier chimed in. "That loud explosion?"

"I heard no explosion," Arion said firmly.

"Yeah, I heard it as well. And I felt some strange force of energy too. It came from the floor above us..." Solius added, also looking upward. Eventually, the entire squadron of Spring soldiers was staring up at the ceiling.

"Sir, is there a room you have not yet shown us?" Pedallus asked Arion.

"Yes. But nothing that you need to see. Please take a seat," Arion said. "We'll begin discussing our plans with you all soon."

(( For the unintelligent, lol, they were hearing the collision between Nimbus and Din. ))

(( Thanks for telling me Nestec, I had no idea. ))

"Yes, mercy. Now you better stand up and start working your ass off like the rest of us who learned to use our skills. All of us have lost something just like you have so stop acting like you're the only one." Enyo scolded Nimbus as she stood firmly in front of Din.

Din took a step forward and then stood in front of Enyo. "It's okay." He insisted. "And I know the problem Nimbus is having to control his power. He's putting forth too much emotion. He needs to calm himself and stop trying so hard with his mind swelled with anger. With that, it disrupts the entire technique." Din explained.

"Nimbus, you need to hold positive emotion in you and then focus on what you want. And with that comes the calmness that you need to execute your ability." Din added finally.

Enyo stared at Din, feeling quite confused. Rena showed the same expression as Enyo.

"Ehhh... Isn't that just common sense though?" Rena said quietly to herself.

Looking over at Mizu, Ed felt a feeling of hatred.  He refrained from showing it though, instead he turned his attention to Nimbus.  Here this boy had lost everything, everything.  Poor kid.

"Nimbus, now may not be the time, but I promise, a time will present itself sooner rather than later, you need only wait," Ed told him.

“Well I am prepared to do anything that will get me closer to answers, trust I have killed so much that I don’t even get the excitement that most people get anymore.” Maxui looked at Djin and smiled.” You look like someone that has had his hands dirty quite a bit, and watch I will gladly rid the world of vermin for  Wrath.”

Maxui sat with his legs crossed observing the entire room with open eyes and a open mind. Slowly leaning back onto the couch he began breathing in deeply relaxed.

Djin stretched. "Very well, I will make it official. You're free to use the couch here to sleep until we set you up a room of your own." Djin suggested. "Also... Just for the record, your rank is only slightly higher than a soldier's. The only time your word can outrank an Officer's is if they are orders directly from me that you are giving. From now on, you are the Private Guard of First General, Djin, The Bringer of Death. But most would refer to you by as my partner." Djin announced to Maxui. "I read just moments ago that Second General, Ryubi, The Bringer of Shield, also was assigned a private Guard today. So I don't see why I can't have one." Djin added as he sat down on the other side of the room.

(( Sorry for mentioning the titles a lot. I want people to remember that these Officers and Generals of Wrath are very powerful and known for what they do. ))

“well this is a pretty cool sofa that you have here and I will gladly take it, hmm but you want to know what I really want???” Maxui’s face lit up and he sat back on the couch even further. “One of those neat titles, I know that I haven’t proven anything to you guys yet but I will and when I do I would like having one.”

Maxui stood up and looked back at Djin and stared a little. “So where are the other officers at, I already met the one that held me in mid air I think it will be cool to meet the others.” Maxui stood looking at Djin waiting for a reply.
