Well after 200 years of being a nation, I can only assume we'd have a lot of holidays. I like dried plums. If we didnt gain our independance, you wouldn't be a cartoonist, only a shriveled old man who has to clean toilets for the dictatorship of the New Land.
So, enjoy the fireworks and make another cartoon!

I think its cool that a nation can go 150 years and not have a lot of wars and killing and such. Granted all that really sucks in the snow, but whatever.
Italy has its national celebration a week or so before the 4th I was told.
