So here is the story, my gf was driving my Mustang, after finally getting a job. (that day) She was in a great mood, then someone ran into her/my car. Screwed up my spoiler and rear bumper. But not too much damage the other car a 88 toyota and was totaled. LOL
We get home after exchanging insurance info (we both had geico). Geico sets me up to get it repaired, and the guy who hit her pays 100% including rental car. So we decided to drive the rental car (2009 Dodge Avenger) to Cocoa Beach Florida, 45 min drive from Orlando.
We paid for surfing lessons $50 dollars and it WAS THE GREATEST EVER!!! I stood up on the surfboard my first attempt. The teacher said i was a natural. He mentioned cause i used to skateboard that would come in handy, which it did!
We were out there surfing for almost 2 hours. Sadly there were a few shark scares and we had to come in the water, then i realized i was burnt, so we stopped.
Durring all the surfing, i saw next to my feet a few times a Manaray and a Stingray. Seriously, surfing is so much fun. And this old 27 year old minnesotan (now floridian) is a natural surfer! We plan on going back as soon as my sun burn goes down.
Timeline - Monday: Gf gets job, gets my car into a crash Tuesday: We get rental car, drive straight to cocoa beach in a rental Wednesday: Kinjo rests his sun burn on his pale knittingy body Thursday: Posting about it, sun burn doesn't hurt so bad

Too bad our beaches blow. And LOL. That was an awesome story with the accident. Wow. That's like epic fail on the other driver's part.

If I could swim better than just sinking to the bottom of whatever I'm in, I'd try surfing. Florida was definitely fun when I was there, I'll have to try and figure out when I can make it to Orlando. Also, what do you think of the Avenger? Was looking at possibly trading in my car for a new one and that and the Challenger R/T were two options I was looking at.
