Today I was throwing the pigskin with my brother after work, all set to go to my local theater to watch a samurai movie double feature, when suddenly i look to the side as my brother chucks the ball to me. Lo and behold, the football completely jams my ring finger in and it hurt like a total wonderful person! Now swelled to the point that my fingers look like a row of skinny chicks with a fat friend in the middle. Now I have a splint that makes playing Halo a wonderful person and typing just as bad, plus I missed the double feature and I turn 18 tomorrow. Bah humbug.

Dude, in middleschool playing Volleyball in PE, that would happen to me EVERY DAY
I would rotate my splint to whatever finger I jammed. Shit sucks.

I must admit, the splint made for some interesting conversations in school today. People asked what happened and I either said "you should see the other guy" or told a story about how an old man pissed me off at work so I let him have it.
