Title: I wonder what blind people see/interperet

I've been told blind people cannot see anything even colour.
I would always imagine blind people see black or white but the above statement says otherwise. I cannot even think what it would be like to see nothing.
There are people who are blinded later in life, not from birth. But try asking them what they see without offending them.
in before "they don't see anything".

Well then.. I fail at being blind.
I tried walking down the stairs with my eyes closed. Bad decision..

Studies have shown that those who were blinded but could see before are able to see images in their dreams. However, those who have been blind since birth have dreams that feature only sights, sounds, smells, tastes, emotions, etc.
Funny, I was walking through philadelphia yesterday and this tall, somewhat plump black guy with sunglasses was walking right towards my mom and I. Suddenly we see he has this white walking stick which starts moving between my mom's legs. Befuddled, she jumped to the side, leaving me confused as this monstrosity marches towards me without any hesitation, suddenly realizing he was blind. I backed up, then lept to the right like a cat to avoid him. A group of women behind us were laughing and applauded our dodging abilities, with me replying that I didn't see him coming, and I can see!
