I'm not a gun-ban supporting maniac (though I do support gun RESTRICTIONS/LAWS) but IDK what's so appealing about them. They're plastic contraptions designed to do nothing but kill
Each day millions and millions of wooden boards are getting vandalized by fat gun-totting rednecks with nothing to do but to shoot their precious glock handgun like their in an fps shooter. People literally naming and decorating their guns so they can aimlessly flaunt their magazine eating tubes in these obsessive, psychopathic gun-shooting gatherings more formally known as gun-shows I wonder how many of these guns are actually used for self defense
And then you have the little teenage COD fanatics buying air-soft guns which is twice as retarded because you're wasting your money on a plastic toy that serves no purpose other than looking like a real gun
all in all I just don't think America is fit to have guns [cowb]

America was able to become its own entity due to guns and we continue to hold power as citizens by being allowed to carry arms to combat domestic threats.
The deadly potential of guns makes criminals think twice about breaking into someones home, being allowed to shoot someone who breaks into your home to commit evil deeds lets you protect yourself and your family.
They are tools that don't need to be fired in order to communicate and influence situations to your benefit.

o.o I can see the argument from both sides of the spectrum, and although I am entirely for restriction laws, I am more inclined to agree with Flashwerewolf, as it is a foundation of our country and unconstitutional to not allow for it.

i learned how to shoot a gun when i was a kid i honestly don't need a gun, because i have sushi knifes but, it would be nice to own a gun, they are not that expensive, you pay more for a xbox 360 then a gun

The problem is that Government can't control its peoples ever. They try and control the peoples by limiting what they can or can't do, regardless if its in the best interest.
Government cant trust its people, people cant trust their government. It will always be like this.

THATS a horrible assumption that parents are responsible..
i remember watchin the news one day that a 19 yr old black guy taught his 4 yr old son how to threaten people and handle a gun when answering the door for drug dealers and such,

it is a good idea in theroy but it relys on people being good natured and reasonable, Sadly the law of averages in society theres enough black sheep to make one wonder sometimes if were the only sane ones.

there are more rational good people than irrational bad people. If it were different things would fall apart (things aren't falling apart right now).

He had a pistol when he shot up his college, set the record with 33 or 34 kills, so he was doing it right. Tho Columbine could have had more kills than the 11 or so if they weren't on MUSHROOMS and distracted by the wallpaper texture.
