That's not a problem for me.

Hate is a powerful word, if it were dislike it would be people who can't learn to type the english language even though it's their language. I understand I may not be perfect, and I bet you can look through this post and find many a errors, but some people just blow my mind with how horrid they are.

That isn't very many errors at all and some could debate whether or not they even are errors =3 I agree, I dislike people who do not make an attempt at typing the English language accurately, if it is due to lack of knowledge. I know my typing isn't the greatest in the world, my sentences typically look like this "Awww! Ish a cewt bunneh!!!" But the way I type is a personality factor, since I am perfectly aware correctly the sentence would be "Awww! That is a cute bunny!" ^^ But people who do it out of lack of knowledge of their native language sometimes is annoying. It really isn't that I find the people annoying, because I'm sure in conversation they are perfectly fine, but their lack of knowledge is the bothersome thing...

Please, don't give us that conservative BS. We all have pet peeves, BD.

I, for one, hate when customers choose to wonderful person and moan about the simplest things, like loss of 59 cents because of a raisin bagel.

A pet peeve is different than hate. I am just discussing the difference.

I  have hated a lot of things and people(more specifically the ways people act) but there is such a thing as civility while interacting with them or in groups. Always feel free to express your opinions( for some, preferably while you are alone) Zero Tolerance is an easy way out of dealing with issues that go much deeper. Hate speech must be protected at all costs, if we lose our right to express our opinions then we have lost freedom :)

Civility for Peace!

Hate cannot be stopped we don't live long enough to all learn from our mistakes and those we hurt along the way to learning peace fuel the flames of hate to continue the cycle.

A good way to help keep a open mindset about someone who has 'earned' your hate at one point is this scenario of mental reflection:
1. You 'hate' someone because of something they did or said.
2. Whenever you are around them you are prejudice to them because of past event(s)

Now, if you put your younger self in that persons place...

1. You hated how dorky you looked when you were 5 years younger, or if you had braces, etc
2. You don't think you are as bad as you were then do you? You've grown, changed things, etc and not the same person.

So that means that the person in question gets a new opportunity to redeem themselves each time you are around them. Now don't expect much :P But its a perspective shift for yourself to make the time more bearable. Sometimes a person doing something you hate can be comforting because its reliable, like my Uncle always being 2 hours late on Xmas each year because he is shopping at the last minute. It used to bother me cause I wanted to open presents, but now I find myself happily joking around about when he will show up :)

So bottom line, Hate's not such a bad guy. Its a blanket word thats just easier to say than explain with a thoughtful sentence about how you feel.

Teehee, what a fabulous explanation FW! =3

BUT I still no like hate. o.o
Hate leads to bad things. =[

=] I'm happy being happy, and shall spread teh joy and love =3
I blame these schools nowadays for the violence and hatred in youths... Can't they teach stuff like anti war and anti angst to these childrens?! There should be a Peace Class! =P

I can blame schools but in the sense that they are taking the importance of raising kids away from parents. Parents treat school like a microwave, pop the kids in for the desired amount of time and tada they are ready to go.
They always complain how their kids act after having done this for all those years. One of those bitter-sweet things to laugh at.

As for schools teaching anti-war stuff or peace, It can only be taught by those teachers who believe it. I had a teacher for political science who was very "liberal" and would teach us the other sign of the coin. I've also had very republican teachers who wouldn't mind telling you how America is great for killing all the people we kill.
What I always took away from History or Political classes was the importance to avoid situations that have occurred in the past, about the damage people can do, and about how you have to protect yourself and those you love and believe in.

^ Ish why I respect you.

I never thought of it like that, but in a way you are right o.o Schools do take a lot away from the raising of children, and teachers often push their beliefs and morals onto students. I have not only seen this in a high school setting, but in a college level class too, where I took a course with a very pro-true-feminism teacher, that took feminism to such extremes she believed wearing a bra was a form of se'xism, and taught a coed class, with students ages 18-25, without wearing a bra (she was like yucky and somewhere in her 40s x_X), and she tried forcing her feminism beliefs onto her class.

But yar... that's a new perspective I'd not thought of. =3
