Tamasa clicked the key, as the pins clicked out of place, and the door flicked open. Kyla shifted in before her, resting her sister down on the bed.
Then small girl stirred and glanced up, her eyes barely open, "Sist...." she trailed off.
"Shhh, go back to sleep." Kyla cooed, placing a hand over her sister's forehead, and sighing. "Still feverish." She moved over to a small fridge, and opening it for ice. There were wash clothes in the bathroom she used to hold the ice and placed the makeshift ice pack over her sister's forehead, to whom had already fallen asleep again.
Tamasa glanced over, "Is she going to stay with us?"
Kyla glanced over, "Well I can't abandon her."
"I just meant it's probably not going to be a very child friendly trip..." Tamasa continued. "Can't she stay with her parents?"
"What parents?" Kyla recoiled.
Tamasa fell silent. "Sorry..." she said after a few moments.
Kyla smiled, "For what?"
The other girl looked up, confused, "Uhmm.."
"We're sisters now, no need to be so nervous all the time. You take life too seriously, that's your problem!" Kyla continued on, laying beside her sister in the bed, as Tamasa sat on the unoccupied bed in the room.
"Maybe..." Tamasa fell silent again and lied back, staring at the ceiling until she could hear the even breathes from Kyla, to which she assumed had already fallen asleep. Soon enough she too has fallen victim to her own subconscious mind.
