Title: What Year/Grade was your favorite in school?

i was inspired to make this topic with another topic.
my favorite was 12th grade! japanese class, computer classes and a new school where nobody knew me! [mage]

Junior Year, thats when my running buddies and I took over our team and started all sorts of traditions and sillyness.

hmm... thats a good question.. i loved 11th grade, lots of friends and I wasnt afraid to talk to anyone or be my usual silly self c: Spent a whole week table hopping in lunch just to pester people and get to know people :D and it was fun! I actually thing so far, the best time I've had was over the summer after 11th grade (this past summer) midway through, just before I moved back home, when I was able to reconnect with age old friends and made some new ones and I realized how incredible they all were. :3 They drove out at 3 in the morning to get me from my house because my parents were fighting and my dad was mad at me.. :D Then we went to the beach and watched the sunrise as they helped talk me through it.. its a memory I think I'll always cherish... C:

the schools i went to
white people were the minority
overpopulated with hmongs (asians from laos) and hispanics (who only spoke there own language)
very few whites and blacks

I'm a minority too, its almost all hispanics and blacks at my school Theres only a few asians, and most of them are fillipino o.o c: and those people is chill

pretty evenly mixed schools were the ones I went to, tho majority were whites. Not too upper-class just dorky crazy kids who didn't care about being COOL or GHETTO or what-have you. We were all pretty nerdy. We had no rival school, we'd trash the school ourself.

XD We rival against another division of our own school. East (red cardinals) vs West (navy panthers). :D Kinda happy that I'm a panther and not a cardinal XD Although the mascot costume for the cardinal is terrifying... it makes little kids cry :I I've witnessed eet mahself.

not for me C:
Kindergarten I got in mah first fight because some mean boy kicked over my lincoln log buildings and took all the good pieces :3
1st grade we had an awesome Johnny Apple Seed Day event where all the teachers made apple snacks and we traveled to a buncha rooms and did fall harvest activities and got to eat apple goodies :D
2nd grade i got to churn mah own butter and visit a farm c:
3rd grade I hated... my neighbor down the road that used to steal my stuff and was realll mean to me used to steal my glasses and stomp them into the ground (kept breakin em :<) and we did a senses lab and she made me eat hot sauce even though my mommy specifically said that with that project i was not to consume variously things because I had a really bad stomach then and a ton of things made me really sick, hot sauce being practically number one on that list :I Then I had my first severe asthma attack in school and the teacher said there was only "a half hour left to school, you can tough it out" and then i had to walk home, which was 4-5 blocks of barely breathing, :I that was the worst year of my school career
4th grade I got to go to a zoo for the first time ever :D
5th grade was my first year in middle school, and i had this friend Connor who was like my best buddy :D and this girl Sara who was the most two face girl I'd ever met.. I took a brief interest in NASCAR that year, that never actually stuck around
6th grade i loved, met some of the best friends of my life :D (some 4Mers are familiar with Rachel C:)

10th grade ended up being the best for me back then i had 3 different HS crushes that didnt mind dating me briefly, Arlington was the best, the next 2 years political BS would cut school funding and not be as fun.

I had some pretty rough elementary school years in public school... compared to most kids. I was picked on a lot.

no chance, I still have memories from when I was 3 :Dc I remember my toddler bed, my room I had to share with my sister, by favorite baby blanket (it had baby mickey mini and pluto) and how hard I looked for it when my mom gave it away (found that out years later :< Thought for years that I had just lost it only to find my mom betrayed me... my 12 year old lil bro STILL has his baby blanket ;A;) C: I also remember watching scooby doo and top cat and secret squirrel and flinstones and jetsons til the wee hours of the night in mah toddler bed on my tiny little analog tv with the powerpuff girls stickers all over :Dc
they invented it just to keep another generation in school.

:Dc wow.. what was that extra year of high school after 11th grade that both my parents had to go to?! :I But that was more than 20 years ago.. maybe they took it away and brought it back. On a similar note, 20 billion years ago no school existed. They made it to keep the younger generations would have to go to school

i think now that im out of school, they should make a 13th grade
maybe then america would be in first place worldwide when it comes to schooling
Whats so good about being #1 in schooling if our economy is based on small business and service industries? Jobs requiring insane amounts of schooling are a small percentage.

it should be illegal to give actual school credits for online schooling of any kind
your not going to school, your at home on the internets with no REAL instruction

Your teacher is just not physically present and you're in your home, thats about the only difference. The course-work is usually more with online classes than in a classroom. I learned the hard way taking a math class online, and WOW I HAD TO DO EVERY QUESTION IN THE BOOK. At school I would only have to do the evens or odds for a chapter.

Well the majority of students attend a physical school. I believe that online school is set up for those who qualify for it, not only for the lazy kids.

some have real good reason yes, but the lazy kids shouldn't be allowed
if a kid goes to online school his/her life, how will they ever get a real job
they would be used to being home and socially inclined
