Out of the box, Mac builds better computers. But, if you know what you're doing, you can upgrade Windows systems to be much more efficient than Macs. But in all seriousness, Mac definitely takes the cake in basic laptops. I would get a MacBook if I had the money.

1. Saying it is the shit is not a vaild argument.
2. Listing what you got is irrelevant to the actual site being reliable.
3. Your specs are irrelevant to the Mac topic.
4. "customizability" is not a word.
5. Its hard for me to take you seriously when you spell "love" as "luuuuuuuuuuv"

I also seriously doubt he has that computer at all. There's no way his tightwad parents would give him the money for that, especially at 12 years old. Didn't even list the motherboard, sound card, or casing, as well as the power supply, coolant system and overall overclock speed of the PC.

He probably doesn't even know what half of that shit means. I guarantee you he looked up stuff that was either the most expensive and/or top-rated and listed whatever he could remember to try to sound awesome. I call bullshit.

Run a dxdiag and screenshot it for me, then I'll believe you. (If you even know how to do that, lol)

I just buy my stuff off of NewEgg or TigerDirect and it's mailed to me. I put it together myself. The one I bought last time though, I got at a local annual computer expo, and bought parts at factory direct prices - Can't beat that. I paid probably 700$ for a computer that would have cost me upwards of 1,200$. Very nice deal; definitely look for one of those if you're going to make a computer.

[off]

IMacs are over priced and over rated. Should have gotten a regular mac.

always disliked macs, then I hated them, and I will always hate them. a mac is just a childs toy, that's all. if you buy one, then start to know things about computers, you will realize you made a horrid mistake.
